Finally finished this monster of a piece, urgh

The quote that heavily inspired me (and is featured in) this piece is from ultrakill. It was just that layer 8 had just come out, and I had reread tokyo ghoul recently to that time, and I was like woah, I should totally draw this

Thoughts on touken?

I got very mixed feelings for them and if I'm being honest I was disappointed by the way their relationship came to be in re.

I personally thought they were rushed and Touka didn't get enough moments of her own outside of her relationship with Kaneki.

It feels like no matter how many times I discuss this with touken shippers, my mind doesn't change, even though I do want to understand what everyone loves so much about this ship. If anyone wants to explain why they love touken in re please feel free to explain, I'm open to having my opinions changed 🙂‍↕️

I liked their interactions a lot in classic tg though.

I just finished Tokyo Ghoul:re and I have a question.Why is the CCG still using quinques at the end? If they want peace with ghouls, using weapons made from ghouls feels wrong.Maybe I missed something.

Omg Anon perfect timing because I've been wondering the same thing for the past few days. What I've been thinking is that perhaps they're using existing quinques and don't create new ones anymore. I'm sure there would be ghouls bothered by the usage of quinques even after the dragon war but the priority is to fight off the dragon orphans.

How do you feel about the Etoken ship? I always saw it as a what-if alternate universe that seemed interesting when it was going on.

I'm fine with almost every pair, Etoken just never piqued my interest so much ngl.. I do love their dynamic and they without a doubt look great together

I’m finally free from this semester!, here’s a bit of one of my final projects I did. We had to design a card collection with 15 different designs so I obviously had to involve Tokyo ghoul somehow. (We also had to make a fake commercial, so no they’re not available, at least not yet, I want to sell them someday including more designs 🥲)
