I think it's safe to assume it was Kaneki.

Kaneki shows up in full attack mode on Kiyoko and Mougen and the fight cuts here.

Kiyoko never denies that Kaneki did it.

I think people started speculating because of Kiyoko's switch-up. She went from despising ghouls to asking Shinsanpei to not hold hatred for Kaneki, despite suffering such an injury by him. Makes you wonder if something else happened off-screen to make her soften.

Also if Kaneki really had done that, you'd expect that harming one of the investigators to this degree would've affected him somehow and be brought up again, but his perspective on this is never brought up.

Nah if I were to join I would only draw other people's characters since I don't have OCs of my own LOL

I got very mixed feelings for them and if I'm being honest I was disappointed by the way their relationship came to be in re.

I personally thought they were rushed and Touka didn't get enough moments of her own outside of her relationship with Kaneki.

It feels like no matter how many times I discuss this with touken shippers, my mind doesn't change, even though I do want to understand what everyone loves so much about this ship. If anyone wants to explain why they love touken in re please feel free to explain, I'm open to having my opinions changed 🙂‍↕️

I'm fine with almost every pair, Etoken just never piqued my interest so much ngl.. I do love their dynamic and they without a doubt look great together
