Lately, I’ve been indulging on some sparkly trend going on. If you don’t know what that is, it is called highlighter/illuminator.
The illuminator is used to highlight the points on your face that you want to emphasize. It is also used for the strobing technique (which I prefer) because it looks more natural than contouring. Although, I am not against countouring, it’s just that I am high-key feeling the glowy look.
In this post, I will show you the products that I am using to achieve that Kylie Jenner-ish glow, BUT for an affordable price!

This last product is actually an eyeshadow, but I still use this as a highlighter when I am feeling extra. lol! Also, this is a dupe for MAC’s Paint Pot in Bare Study. It also achieves that primer effect for your eyeshadow PLUS it s waterpoorf wink!

Ever since I was little, I used to play with make-ups & lippies. Guess who’s my model? Yup, it’s my mom!
I can still remember that one night, when I used my mom’s lipstick as an eyeliner. Hahaha can you imagine? A red lipstick as an eyeliner! But hey, who would have thought that vibrant eyeliners are going to be a trend now?
Since I don’t have any sibs, I still practice my make-up skills on her. (Thanks, Ma for the full support!)
In this post, I am going to share to you my forever favorite look, which is smokey eyes. (Thanks, Pa for the sponsored make-up brushes & the Palette!)

What I Used:
You should hydrate your skin first using any moisturizer that you prefer, in my case I used Olay which I did not include here.
Remember the figure of 3 rule in applying the Bronzer!
Apply the right amount of blush just above the bronzer.Apply the illuminator above the blush to highlight your cheekbones! (This is my favorite part.)
the Brows & Eyes
Shape your brows using the eyebrow pencil & fill it in with the powder. Make sure to use a light hand stroke so that it will look natural! Keep in mind that your brows are sisters, not twins! It’s okay that they don’t look identical as long as they almost look alike.Use this so that your eye shadow will last longer.Apply coats of Mascara to your lashes to give you that dramatic look!
the Lips
Remember, smokey eyes + a red lipstick is a No No! So in this look, I chose to balance everything with these brown lippies. But first, hydrate your lips using a balm.

My friend; who loves pugs so much, wanted to see Smile (name of the pug) again. So we decided to visit Barkin Blends! The first time that we had the chance to visit this cafe was on a Tuesday & sadly, they don’t operate on Tuesdays. IKR :(
Last 012816, we only had one subject & we weren’t really planning anything. Everything came spontaneously so we grabbed the chance to go to Barkin Blends & explore QC (Quezon City).

Tbh, our trip did not end here. We also went to Snacks & Ladders and I swear, it is suuuuuch a chill & fun place to hang around & get to know your friends. Too bad we enjoyed our company that we did not mind taking such photos.

NYX ♥ cosmetics is very affordable & well pigmented.
I am a fan of satin & matte lipsticks! I can say that their mattes doesn’t really dry out your lips. If you want something matte & will surely last longer, you should try their lip creams. It doesn’t transfer once it has set on your lips plus it has a very cake-y smell! So fab!
Last Sunday, 11|15|15 we went to Tagaytay with our relatives from the United States. Although it was my nth time around the place, we still managed to discover new places! Shout out to Tita Mye! BIG THANKS for helping us out.

First stop, Starbucks Tagaytay. We just went there to check out the nice view of Taal Lake. Really.

After checking out the nice view at Starbucks, we head out to RSM for some lunch. The atmosphere at this place is very relaxing and they serve the best Seafood Kare-Kare! Yup, you read that right. It is not the usual Kare-Kare in town. Too bad I did not took a picture of it because it is too good! lol
Well here, you can “see” the Kare-Kare... i think?
This dish is called, Bulalo.
After eating, we spent time to enjoy the view and the coziness of the place.

After having our lunch, we went to the Puzzle Mansion.

BAG OF BEANS
After hanging out at the Mansion, we went straight to Bag of Beans for some adrenaline rush. We were a little sleepy due to the peaceful environment at the Mansion.
I ordered a Mocha Frappe & this enticing Chocolate mousse.
