Here’s some stuff I drew so yk what you’re diving into

this is not to compare the two games, both are nice in their own ways and can co-exist. i just shift my gaze too often to be considered consistent.

Honorable Mention: Butcher Vanity. I can’t exactly say it’s my favorite anymore, but it was very…defining for me, if that makes sense?? Like friends have known me to be that one guy that likes this song to a fairly unhealthy degree. Especially because I’m also known in my friend groups for really liking Yi Xi. I love that woman. Like yeah sure I’ll get under the knife!

5: Maegamist — MARETU: Yeah, who saw this coming. It’s part of my username, it’s also one of those defining songs for me. At least, to me it is. I’ve wholeheartedly been a fan of MARETU’s works. I’m not on the front lines, of course. Just in my own little bubble. I don’t like comparing myself to other fans who think they’re #1 for having so much merch, or knowing every MARETU song under the sun. It’s music that we all enjoy, there’s no need to put yourself on a high horse.

4: Kokoro Nonsense (PinocchioP Remix specifically) — I don’t…think I’ve actually heard the original of this song? I just also like PinocchioP a lot. Whoopsies.

3: Heat Abnormal — iyowa: I took this song and ran away with it. Sorin knows the grief it brings! The grief I made it bring after deciding to make an AU out of it for my OCs (Ozzy after having his hate for me further justified :p)

2: Sooner Or Later — Breaking Benjamin: It’s at this point we kinda leave the sphere of Vocaloid and I, instead, find myself in the realm of my dad’s taste. Breaking Benjamin—among other bands like Linkin Park, System Of A Down, Shinedown, Green Day, etc.—have been pretty cool to listen to. My dad’s been playing their songs in the car for about as long as I can remember (Up until I left, I mean-), and in comparison to the radio songs my mom would put on? Yeah no he’s got the better taste, I’m sorry. Even back then. And don’t get me wrong, radio songs used to be listenable? Just not anymore. Everything on the radio kinda just feels hollow to me now, y’know?

1: Straight Jacket Fashion — Chevelle: Currently, this is the song on top(including other songs like Forfeit, Envy, Well Enough Alone, etc.). This is what I have on at least once during my walks. I just really love Chevelle as a whole, if I’m honest? They’re also one of those bands my dad’s had me listen to since childhood. I enjoy the yells and whatnot, but what I happen to enjoy more are the harmonies I hear in Chevelle’s songs. They just have that distinct sound that makes me happy, y’know?

Uhhhhh I wanted to put Muse somewhere in here but this is what happens when I’m LIMITED TO 5 SONGS. YOU WOUND ME. I’M PUTTING THEM HERE ANYWAY, THEY’RE PEAK.
