The official BDS accounts obviously can't say what is one of the most effective tactics against Elbit Systems: Direct Action!

Get together with your friends, set up a direct action group, and attack Elbit Systems factories and companies that work with Elbit Systems in your country!

Today we released a statement opposing the Trump Administration’s newly proposed leasing plan for offshore oil and gas drilling.

The plan would open up our backyard and the entire California coast for consideration for drilling that we and many communities have long fought. 

Healthy, intact ecosystems support thriving wildlife, clean air, and stable weather—all essential for people and nature to flourish. Our ocean and our communities are better off without the threat of devastating oil spills from drilling activity lurking off of the California coast.

In the face of this challenge, our commitments remain clear:

💡Centering science in the fight against climate change. Preventing opportunities for new oil and gas development will help the U.S. limit greenhouse gas emissions, improving the health and resilience of humans and nature. 

📢 Giving a voice to marine wildlife that depend on a clean, thriving ocean. On behalf of important ocean species—”NO” to offshore drilling! 

🤝 Building on restoration efforts still underway after past oil spill catastrophes and keeping up the critical work to protect all of us and our communities in the future. We all have a right to a healthy ocean, and our ecosystems, coastal economy, and livelihoods depend on it.

Meet Owin and Matti, two southern sea otters whose journeys are a true testament to the power of partnership in conservation. 🧡

Both were rescued at just 3 weeks old—Owin along Scenic Drive in Carmel by the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Matti near Morro Strand Campground by The Marine Mammal Center. These bright, alert, and vocal pups were found alone and, after rescuers were unable to find mom in the wild, brought to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for care. They were deemed non-releasable by the US Fish and Wildlife Service when sea otter surrogacy was not an option.

Once both pups were healthy, they were cared for at Aquarium of the Pacific, which recently joined the Monterey Bay Aquarium as a key partner in otter surrogacy. These pups helped prepare resident female sea otters to be future surrogate mothers. After growing strong and healthy, Owin and Matti found their forever home together at Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium, where they now serve as ambassadors for their species.

Through swift saves, skilled support, surrogate moms, and steadfast stewardship, these sea otters found a second chance. 🦦✨

Why why would you want someone to call you male or female if you’re not male or female then?”

"But minimum wage fast-food jobs are for teenagers! They don't need $20/hour!" Ok. So you're only going to get fast food after 2/3 pm, when those teens are out of school, and not before 6/7 pm, so they can go home and eat at the bare minimum? You don't mind if they're closed on the weekends so they have free time for studying, homework, and relaxing? No? You don't like that? Then pay the ADULTS doing those jobs enough to live.

"But janitors-!" Without them you would be swimming in filth within days, don't even start. Have trouble keeping your house or just the bathroom clean? Scale that up to a whole building, and after you've processed that, pay them.
