how was my weekend? ah, actually, i got put in a saw trap. yeah… luckily it was minor. chewed too loudly in a restaurant near john kramer, so i had to extract my own wisdom teeth. bloody stuff, you know? i mean i needed them out anyway, just would have preferred to do it with non-rusty tools. yeah i had to go get a tetanus shot. huge pain in the ass. luckily this was on saturday and i had all of sunday to recuperate so i could come into work today. i don’t think being saw trapped is covered under FMLA and i’m all out of sick time so i would have been shit out of luck. but that’s life. anyway how was your weekend? oh, you went to the planetarium? that’s pretty cool.
[having escaped the planetarium saw trap but not wanting to go into detail] yeah
this is why we need to be more open, people. statistically, someone you love has narrowly escaped a saw trap, but is afraid to talk about it with you due to embarrassment. they may feel that they are a bad person for being saw trapped in the first place. by talking openly about the saw traps that we have struggled with, we can normalize this very common experience, and your loved ones will feel safe to share their astronomically-themed near death experiences with you in turn. that is how we defeat jigsaw– not with violence, but with open and honest communication. #mentalhealth
