Have you ever been to a haunted house/manor?
my old house was. we lived there when i was around 7 years old, and weβd constantly see a little girl there. at first, my parents thought it was me, and would call out to me if they saw her, but then be shocked when i came in from a completely different room. iβd also get many night terrors there, and would hear/feel things talking/touching me when iβd try to sleep. we later found out that house was built on an old cemetery.
My parentsβ house is haunted. Several of my friends in high school would see a man walking around the house. My dad has felt something crawl into bed with him. I have also felt something crawling on all fours from the foot of my bed that was far too large to be my 9 lb dog. Several other things have happened, but those are just the main ones that I remember.
@sixpenceee We're pretty sure the house I grew up in was haunted, but it only seemed to be one room. The first give away sign was it was always incredibly cold, and our dogs would never go in. It was a bathroom to begin with, but we converted it to a bedroom. When my dad took off the tiles on the walls, he found lots of pictures of eyes etched into the plaster with ink all around the door frame. Of course, we covered them with wallpaper. We were confused at first. It wasn't until the room started being used more frequently that we realised that these eyes must have been keeping something in the room. My sister used the bedroom, and she would wake up with unexplainable scratches on her legs and arms. She also had guitars up on the walls, and said that on more than one night they started to play, as if someone was walking past them running their finger across the strings. She also heard a bell 'tinkling' when there was no bell in there. I had the bedroom next to hers and would often here knocking on the walls but when I would go and see what my sister wanted, she would be fast asleep or nobody would be in there at all. This continued on a regular basis. A few years later, after she had moved out, my parents separated and my dad slept in that room for a while. All the same things happened to him. We never had any other odd phenomenons in any other part of the house. I don't even want to know what would happen if someone got rid of those eyes.
