Okay enough of my brain bye random creature of the internet

Had an epiphany about oxidized copper for armor the other day and I think that helped bring it all together.

Zooble armor design is finished and it vexes me so. The coloring part tho has been kicking my ass so I haven't touched it for a few days while I catch up on other stuff.

there's something about the linework especially that really caught my attention. it's loose and expressive while still reading as clean and I will probably reference it in future studies of mine to learn from it (if that's okay with you of course!).

to this purpose, I was wondering if you could post a colorless version with only the lineart? I'd love to see it!

Howdy! I'm glad you liked my design that much! And I hope you're able to give TADC a chance if you're interested. My take on the character is more humanely proportioned, than my fave ringmaster's actual canon design.

I don't think anyone has ever wanted to study my art like this before. I'm super honored, even though I personally feel like my art isn't really at a good enough level to study. I don't have a much of a strict line art layer since I tend to merge my layers often. So here's a colorless version.

I also tend to work reductively in some of the drawing areas. I do so in the boots and the helmet plume. So instead of white lines, I just use the eraser brush. I work in clip studio and I only used two free brushes for this piece: Drawing Pen (ID1967072) and rake painter/oil paint <3 (ID1853994).

I really dig your Sir Caine art! Is it alr if I use it as a reference for a Dungeons and Dragons character? Credit will be supplied.

The Amazing Digital Castle Adventure

Caine has this really cool passion project he's been working on for some time. In fact this would be his most immersive adventure yet! Packed full with fleshed out NPCs, a mature plot Zooble would surely be proud of, and individual goals and roles perfectly picked out for his beloved circus members. He even spent tireless nights designing their knightly models....aaand maybe a little something for himself. He wanted everything to be perfect and what better way to work out all the bugs than to test everything from the inside. He'd only be gone for less than 5.7 minutes! Everything was fine at first! What he didn't expect was to get his code hijacked by the adventure itself, altering the story nearly completely. One should be more careful about crafting self-insert models. The immersive temporary modifiers may work too well in say, locking away some memories. Wouldn't want to get trapped roleplaying one's own adventure now, right?
