hi, i’m fundraising for another Black person!

i’m a black nonbinary college student currently training/studying in healthcare. recently i had my wallet containing several of my ids, cards, public transportation passes stolen on my way to my required clinical rotations. in the process, money was drained from my account and i am still waiting for my bank to recover it as they are investigating for fraud. i currently do not work because i simply do not have the time, so, i have no income. in order to get to my required clinicals, i am often paying for 40 dollar ubers up to 4 times a week and i am unsure i will be able to consistently keep this up for the rest of the semester. in addition, i have to manage my living costs (food, apt stuff) as well as the costs associated with graduation as well as mental health treatments for bipolar and i am finding it difficult to foot the bill with little support. if you could help id be very grateful ]

i’m remaking this post as my old one lost traction. i’m 5k away from the halfway point which is where i can pencil-in my surgery date! this is extremely important (and exciting for me, holy shit)!!!!! the sooner i can get this potentially life-saving procedure the better!!!! 

as a proud mixed Indigenous lesbian, i had a hard time asking for help. everyone on this platform has been extremely kind to me both in their words and actions. i love you all dearly. 

after months of waiting for an appointment, despite having known since something was wrong, due to the injustice that is the American healthcare system; i found out i have cervical cancer in september. since my life isn’t in ‘immediate danger’, i’m not a priority in their eyes. this is why i’m appealing to all of you now, please help me get this sickness out of my body once and for all!

if there is anyone out there who reads this, by offering your help you are saving me. whether it be by thoughtful sentiments or contributions or spreading this post wherever you can. my life is not in my hands anymore.

hi friends, i hate to do this but my family is having an awful day -- our house literally fucking burned down and we lost almost everything, including our dog. i'm heartbroken and devastated. i can't stop crying. what wasn't lost is now considered a biohazard and has to be either destroyed or deep cleaned, which just won't work for things like my medication (which i will go into withdrawal without), burned phones, laptops, etc. almost all of our heirlooms, clothes, savings, etc are gone. just gone.

the cost to replace our necessities (clothes. shoes. etc) on top of medical fees (all 6 of us have to go to the hospital due to the amount of smoke and debris we breathed in) is overwhelming and it would be so very appreciated if anyone could help, whether financially or even through praying for us if that's something you do. sorry this is so frazzled. i'm in shock and very very sad.
