For a lot of us, those chats became safe places, those safe places do not have to disappear. Just because the chat won’t exist anymore, that doesn’t mean that we have to stop supporting each other

It does not matter what you choose to do with your fanworks, me personally, I will not be continuing my fics with them in it but I’m not going through the hassle of deleting anything. I’m proud of the stories I made, I’m proud of what I’ve created, they won’t ruin that for me. But I will not continue them

There’s a lot going around on what to do about V!Avid and, personally, I believe it is up to us. Each individual, I believe my friends when they say they are claiming V!Avid because the “creator” didn’t care about him, I don’t mind the people who don’t want to write him anymore. It is up to you, and we should not be attacking anyone for writing a CHARACTER that was so beloved by the community but so clearly hated by the “creator”

For the first few episodes Scott sees Shelby as a sort of entertaining pet (yes this is important) she sees him as their best friend and Scott sees them as a pet. That’s really actually kinda sad, Shelby’s turning was a betrayal in of itself. She trusted everyone they went out with, we talk about Avid’s death, and Pyro’s turning with that, but everyone forgets that Shelby was betrayed by people she trusted to. And yes they grew to love it but that’s where people leave it.

It wasn’t until after Scott had betrayed Shelby that he actually started to care about them. She was someone who actually cared about him, not infatuated like Pyro (which Scott knew damn well was a fawn response), and not apprehensive like Owen. Shelby was the one member of the coven that actually liked Scott and in spite of that betrayal as well. They liked and trusted Scott even though Scott treated her like a pet and food.

He’s actually HURT when Shelby lied to him about Avid’s turning. It was still buried under the apathy but it was there. He didn’t like it when Pyro lied to him, but Shelby? The one fledgling who actually liked and cared about Scott? The one fledgling who thought of him as a friend rather than just a sire? Yeah, he was hurt, and no one talks about that enough. Shelby was probably the only person Scott cared if he hurt, she was the only person who had confirmed to Scott that they cared (NEGLECTED SCOTT GOLDSMITH MY BELOV—)

So yes, Shelby brought out the resting human emotion that allowed for Scott to even consider giving Avid a chance. And that’s why the fact that Shelby was the one who turned Avid was so important. Had anyone else turned Avid, Scott wouldn’t have given two shits about him, but it was Shelby who turned him, Shelby who begged Scott not to hurt him when she revealed they were the one who’d turned him. And that’s why Scott listened, that’s why Avid was given a chance, Because. Of. Shelby.

And because Scott gave Avid a chance that’s what shocked him completely out of his apathy, and it was because of Shelby.

They should team up.....

I find it funny how all the times they won they were somewhat allied, if not a brief team (not to mention how Scott's win's + G's deaths parrallel eachother hmm) ("Not like this!" - "I don't know! Not like this!")

They are so silly I love their duo and I think they should team up AND kill eachother <3 for enrichment they deserve it (bc istg despite Joel targeting Scott in the LS a lot Grian is right next to him, that man literally kept killing Scott in Sim! and P! Life because no else could (or tried) and Scott js accecpted it lol. He was like: Yeah it was bound to happen...)

They'd be such a fun team I could see them being so silly whilst abusing the game mechanics!! Also Scott would def allow Grian to kill him with no remorse if he asked him so he practilly would have no consequences for being Grian.

I don't really wanna justify their dynamic I js think they'd be neat.

But if I were to. Grian might actually be able to be stealthy if he isn't against Scott's crazy listening/waryness, and I have a feeling they would enable eachother for the worse. (Early game tho Scott has Grian close by at all times with danger signs plastered around him) The moment they are red or one of them is, chaos shall ensue.

(also I could so see Grian helping Scott if he were the last green again (Sim! life) or not targeting him until Scott either died or he got sick of people targeting his team and failing so he kills him js to move on(but not in a betrayal kind of way))

The sun and the stars is such a good symbollic dynamic especially with lore lol. Because the sun is also a star. So they are forever tied together as one in the same. Which is a very interesting dynamic if you consider watcher lore and them hating Scott because the symbolism implies Grian is a part of Scott not the other way around, which is so fun to consider
