Keeping Up with the Tarkins

First of all, welcome to this little hellscape!

I expect y'all will be seeing a lot of shitposts on here about characters you've probably never heard of--I've enjoyed this moral train wreck of a human being for a long time for a multitude of reasons and his noncanon family lore is just as interesting as his canon lore, in my opinion.

The principle characters you'll likely be seeing are his wife, Thalassa, and his son, Garoche Tarkin. Lady Saro, Garoche's lover, may also make an appearance or two. Jova Tarkin is a must, as well.

My thoughts on Natasi Daala and her relationship to Tarkin are conflicted but I love her dearly and thus will post infrequently and sporadically about her.

The handling of TK-421 is such absolute balderdash that I find him too funny not to post about.

I also want to note that I have taken some extreme liberties with Thalassa Tarkin specifically, to the point where I disregard pretty much all of her source material. Purists, I apologize. I just think she'd be a more interesting and complex character if she wasn't completely devoted to her husband and was maybe also a mafia boss. Assuming I update this blog with any consistency, I may explain that in time.

I've also taken liberties with Garoche solely because he has virtually no personality in the comics. Gotta fix that, don't we?

I think that about covers it. We'll see what this turns into, but for now expect a goofy meme every now and again and maybe some serious talk about how fucked up Tarkin and his whole family is.
