Iβm genuinely curious how Sunshine Sachs get paid, is by popularity results, contract outcome, or an arrangement based on column inches? Whatever they get probably isnβt enough to have to deal with you know who, and though we are told they are the worlds best at what they do can this still be said, as MM is crowbarred into events which SS have existing clients or contacts. I thought maybe a leading PR company would have a lighter touch way more subtle approach. The Sussexβs image seems to be as far down as possible and then someone starts digging, so I canβt imagine how bad it would be without the PR.
PS I am with you on the William affair nonsense, there is no better proof it didnβt happen than Pippa naming her daughter Rose, it cuts the argument off completely. And if someone is spreading unsubstantiated gossip with some fake authority shame on them, there are young children involved and when it comes to SF, she wanted to marry Epstein and lied about their continued contact after his conviction which tells you everything about her.
I looked into how PR firms get paid and it seems there are two options.
Option 1, the retainer, where you pay them monthly (or on whatever recurring basis), and they provide services within the range of your fee.
Option 2, the per-project contract, where you pay them for the scope of one specific project/contract and that's all they work on.
I'm pretty confident that Meghan has Sunshine Sachs on a retainer, which lets her call them up whenever she wants PR, regardless of the content, type, or topic. It's also probably how Meghan uses them to network with other SS clients - probably as part of her retainer, she gets priority access to certain SS-developed events if she wants to participate.
A leading PR company would have a lighter touch or work more subtly, but you have to remember - they also work for the client and a lot of this heavy-handedness we see from Sunshine Sachs appears to come from Meghan's own direction, in my opinion.
Something else I'm confident of, but less so (maybe ~60%), is that Meghan doesn't have senior/high-level executives on her account. She's either the punishment account - where PR execs get assigned when they mess up to get them to quit because Meghan is notoriously a difficult client - or the starter account, where new people are assigned to learn the ropes and move on quickly because Meghan is a notoriously difficult client who goes through PR reps like candy.
