It's fascinating to me, really, that there can be straight up fascist war enthusiast autistics with a special interest in war on this website who openly spout the most vile colonialist bullshit about Argentina being "unable to let go of the islands" and ascribing the state of this country's military simply to some backwards sentimentalism when the truth is that we are oppressed geopolitically and our economy is the way it is because of neocolonialistic subjugation, and that impacts the military. But it simply won't get in expansionist-minded people's heads that some countries might not actually give a fuck about having the latest gun or plane or warship because, like, we aren't... trying to have another war. Argentina has been demanding to be restituted sovereignty over its unlawfully occupied territory for decades and only the English want to go to war. We just want the islands our ancestors lived and fished in to be part of our sovereign territory again, man...

A lot of this "first world citizen" talking about Malvinas is just classism and xenophobia but "woke!"
