What makes it funny for me are the headlines stating Queen Elizabeth II’s Favorite Grandson Marries an NHS Nurse.

Looks like we have someone competing with Harry and Meghan.

Meghan built an entire brand out of a letter written to a soap company, imagine what a goldmine a NHS nurse would be for the right PR person.

This was their engagement announcement, notice the name dropping of The Prince and Princess of Wales.

Well, the credibility of Charles are Camilla as King and Queen are lost that it doesn’t seem a flex anymore.

Hence the addition of PPOW.

Ming Xi's wedding dress, seen from the front, was exactly what Meghan wanted for herself. Simple isn't always easy. Ming's dress is the perfect silhouette, cut, and drape of haute couture. Meghan's dress looked rushed, made by a novice seamstress from cheap fabric.

I know what you mean, but there is also the fact that Ming Xi is a literal supermodel. Unlike someone else who thinks they are one 😉

About yesterday’s wedding: the bride should’ve married wearing a piece similar to the one the kids wore and a mantilla or even a voilette tbh. Oh, and about he daughter and stepdaughters: I second everything you’ve said. It would’ve been far more appropriate if they simply entered the church before or after her each holding a bouquet of flowers or even if one of them read a prayer or something like that during the ceremony.

I genuinely didn't mind the white wedding gown, I think the days of white only being for first time brides is well behind us. Except she showed her hand with the other choices she made (re: my first post from today).

And then there is this. Since when does Peter have a spokesperson? This does not bode well.

Peter's spokesperson isn't new. Gerard Franklin has been "spokespersoning" for Peter since mid-August 2025. He's the one who published their engagement announcement.

But that said, my sense is Peter hired Gerard specifically to help manage the PR and comms around the engagement/wedding and everything that comes next. I'm curious to see where else Gerard's name pops up.

this whole marriage was weird af. there was even paparazzi pictures from the rehearsal. the amout of articles about this occasion is kind of alarming!for me lady gabriela’s wedding set an example of how a royal-ish wedding should be. lady gabriela knows she has strong family ties to the RF but back then it was pretty obvious she was just planning her special occasion and not trying to profit or go viral from it.

That's hella weird, even weirder that Peter brought a brand new girlfriend around his daughters on the heels of breaking up with a serious girlfriend of three years. What is actually wrong with this family?

Not defending them at all, but all the info I've seen about the relationship is that the girls (Savannah, Isla, and Georgina) were friends first and Peter and Harriet met through them at a sporting thing.

So to play devil's advocate for a bit, maybe Peter and Harriet moved so quickly because the girls already knew each other, so blending their families didn't need to proceed carefully.

Anyway FWIW, my spidey sense is telling me that even though the "official" narrative is Peter broke up with Lindsay in March 2024, met Harriet in April 2024, and went public in May 2024, there was definitely something going on before April. Add rumors that Peter and Autumn announced their divorce when they did because he was cheating, then add Peter's getting caught breaking COVID lockdown to visit a very-married Lindsay...conclusion: Peter is his father's son, just without the secret child.

IMO Peter is a serial cheater, so I guess I agree with you. As for their daughters being friends beforehand I have no idea but will look into it.

I think it will be a bit weird for the working royals (especially W&C) to be around someone like she seems to be while vacationing or even at christmas. I would definitely be scared about her leaking stuff.

NGL William has a blind spot when it comes to his cousins so I am low key concerned. But then again he spotted Meghan from a mile away and this time around had the good sense to keep his children away.
