While scrolling through my apps earlier, my eyes caught on to the tumblr symbol. I have not been on here in a while. Simply for the fact that I’ve sort of outgrown this app. When I was a freshmen, I used my tumblr as an outlet. Sometimes, I didn’t use the app properly, which got me into some trouble with my peers at school. However, overall, I am happy to have had this app a few years ago. It gave me a place to write down and process my feelings. I’m nearing adulthood now. In August, I’ll be starting my final year of high school, and in October I’ll officially be 18. Going through my old posts bring back so many memories. It’s sort of cool to see my angsty rants about ex-crushes. Now that I am older, I am able to process the feelings I once struggled to cope with. I have matured, mentally and spiritually. I see old posts of mine that were so angry and depressing. I can honestly say that I have forgiven the people that caused me to suffer back then. We were young. We made mistakes. Nobody is perfect. I don’t think I’ll ever use this app like I used to. But I’ll surely never forget what it did for me when I was a young. To any of you reading this who used to be one of my classmates- I hope you are doing well. Thank you so much for the experiences. They have molded me into who I am today 💕
