The Team behind DRSAR is looking for Proofreaders/Sensitivity Readers!! :D
Hello everyone! Would you like to give helpful suggestions and advice while being one of the first to get an early peak at any first drafts for the OFFICIAL DR:SAR scripts? Well, you might be able to become an official proofreader for DR:SAR!! Applications will close about a month after the form is released!
IMPORTANT INFO:
If volunteering as a proofreader, you must agree to NOT share any spoiler material regarding death orders, plot twists, or any additional information that can ruin the fun if shared before its time. However, you can share additional things AFTER the spoilers have already passed by (i.e., make a comment on a character's death after their BDA was publicly revealed). Leaking any part of the scripts and plot without consent from IvieVA will get you banned from the server and from continuing to work with them.
Standard rules for any auditioning for DRSAR applies: No AI generation, must be 15+ (preferably older), and must have a discord profile for contact.
Previous writing/proof-reading experience is PREFERRED, but if you have a good understanding of story/character/dialogue writing, then that is the only thing required!
Multiple proofreaders might be selected, so please let me know if you are okay with working with others (at most 2 others as well along with my main proofreader, Bluy)!
This role will be UNPAID due to copyright issues revolving around Team Danganronpa and Spike Chunsoft. If you are not okay with this, then I will please advise to not apply. /nm
When proofreading, please give proper insight on what should be kept, what should be changed, and what certain moments and characters can convey to the viewer (along with other important things such as grammatical errors). This isn't just a way to see the story early, but it's a way to help improve and perfect it with the right guidance!
While not required, having the ability to be a sensitivity reader as well would be heavily preferred! I care a lot about representation and how my characters can come across while also avoiding any potential harmful stereotypes, so having someone help solidify that would be extremely appreciated!
