Regarding the art process, mine is a little bit convoluted. I use two different apps: Sketchbook and Krita.
I have Sketchbook on my phone, which is where I do the initial sketch and lay down the base colours. Then I save it as a JPEG and move it over to Krita on my touchscreen laptop (an MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo) to do the heavy lifting, using textured brushes that mimic oil paint.
Also, I should mention that I rarely create custom brushes from scratch; I usually just tweak the default ones since they do the job perfectly. If I do feel like experimenting, I look for brushes on Instagram—there’s an endless supply of them. More often than not, though, I completely forget about them and just stick to the ‘classics’. So yeah, that’s pretty much how I roll ;)
