I saw some ppl say they like him since ROP came out. I personally have only disliked him more. His scenes are boring just like him, and I much prefer his father, Elendil. Isildur is like his sister honestly.

I think I dislike him a lot based on what I know he's ultimately going to do. I just can't warm to his character. That and he's not Elendil. Seriously, I did not expect to like Elendil much, but he's a fun character.

He actually gets stuff done, unlike Isildur. I'd have ignored Isildur in the family tree and just called myself Elendil's heir instead. I feel like ppl would understand why I'd rather accociate with the hero over the failure who cost all of middle earth world peace.

Tony did what he did to bring Peter back. Let's not beat around the bush about it. Sure, bringing everyone else back was part of it, but Tony didn't truly cave and figure out the solution until Peter was in his mind. He did it to bring Peter back.

I've been thinking of the way he told Steve, "I lost the kid." And I wonder if they might parallel that in some way with Doom, having him say that he lost his son. The edits for those clips would go crazy.

There's obviously no telling how Doomsday is gonna go. Peter probably won't be in it since he hasn't been announced. Having said that neither has Wanda and ppl are theorising she might be in it as a surprise.

I'm just wanting some sort of interaction between Doom and Peter that wouldn't just be a fight. I mean, a massive twist could be Doom revealing his face and pull a Darth Vader on Peter, "I AM YOUR FATHER" or something.

Like, maybe Peter looks like Doom's son, and so while he might not have been Tony's son he could have been in another world (through Doom). Or... with the parallel frames they've been doing between Tony and Peter it could be revealed that Peter IS actually Tony's son.

Let's not pretend we gaf about his parents. They have never been mentioned. He doesn't even gaf about them, just Aunt May (understandably).

None of this will be canon at all, but could be good fanfic material. It's fun to think up of stuff. I personally really like the Darth Vader idea. The concept of Tony Stark/Doom being Darth Vader fits so well. The dark side is Doom and the light is Iron Man. Plus the whole suit/mask thing.

Then for some crack we'll make Peter the Avatar, "But when the world needed him most... he vanished."

When I saw people say they hoped she was lying to hurt Louis and Lestat or to get them to move on, I had to cackle. The way even the viewers will prioritise Louis and Lestat's feelings over Claudia's own voice is wild.

Claudia clocked them exactly as she should. After everything they did, treating her like a paving stone, after her bleak life, after having NOBODY in the afterlife but they still have each other... people really think she'd prioritise THEIR feelings in any way??? No. She hates them, lmao.

The pacing was off at points, and as always I found the romance interrupted the story I was actually interested in, BUT... I loved that they brought Moriarty back. She is a great villain. I wish they had more screen time of her bcs she's really interesting. She's also kinda crazy, which I love.

Still, the thing I disliked the most about the film was that Enola's husband didn't become Mr Holmes at the end. The whole film she was agonising over changing her name and not wanting to. He didn't really like his family too much, though he loved his mother. He never really fit into high society and he was a progressive man.

He finds out the truth about his father at the end and he's devastated, understandably. He says to Enola that his last name is tarnished, and he is basically changing it. I was SO sure he was gonna say he wanted to take HER name since she'd not wanted to change it, but NO they bring up a random aah name instead.

I stand on my agenda of wanting him to have become Mr Holmes.

I like old man Daniel, and I hope he stays. If they give us flashbacks with young Daniel, which they likely will, it'll be fine. I just want old man Daniel to stay.

I liked Daniel, and Lestat and Louis are enjoyable characters, but Claudia is my favourite.

Something that's been on my mind now that the 3rd season is actively coming out is Claudia's final words. She says to the audience, "I now know all your faces. If there is an afterlife, I'm going to come back and fu*king k*ll all of you. And if there isn't an afterlife... I'm still going to find a way."

Idk what is happening in the new season, but I have heard that Louis apparently finds a woman who looks like Claudia. Although, it could be his schizophrenia making him THINK she looks and sounds like her.

Anyways, Claudia's final speech has stuck in my head because what if she really does come back for revenge? Something i saw recently was someone saying that maybe Claudia sent Daniel to do her revenge for her. Of course it's just an imagine, but it is a very interesting idea!

Claudia could be reincarnated like some are saying, too, but idk if I like that. I want her back, obviously, but I don't want her trapped in the same cycle as before.

If they brought her back I'd want her character to have agency. So far we've only viewed her through biased, distorted flashbacks, or through her diaries. And even the diaries were suggested to not always be truthful once. I'd like to view her through HER own perspective rather than Louis or Lestat's bcs theirs can't really be trusted.

Just because SJ has trauma does not excuse the fact he consciously went on to ab*se children. Idc what anyone says, it is never ever justifiable to ab*se others. It doesn't matter how hurt you were bcs of someone else, you don't continue that cycle. I'm saying that as someone who has been ab*sed.

I've been asked how I'm so kind after everything I went through, and I tell them it's a conscious choice. Yes, I was hurt. Harmed emotionally, mentally, and physically. But I would never continue the cycle. Shen Jiu consciously chooses to do the opposite. He wants to hurt others, and that's telling of his character.

Sorry, I've just got tired of the oversaturation of SJ simps who butcher his character and erase/gloss over/excuse that he's ab*sive. That's who this is about, dw we all enjoy an SJ adopts SY fic bcs we have some rlly talented writers. Rant over.
