Aaaaahhhhh my first ever ask!!! I wanna start this off right so, nothing but fluff! At least as much fluff, you can get from Alucard honestly. I tried to write this is a way I feel would hit Alucards character more from Hellsing Ultimate, not the abridged version so hopefully this turns out okay! I’m staying safe and I hope your safe as well!
Pairing: Alucard x GN Reader

You were so tired, it was definitely past midnight at this point but you lost track after the 1st time you almost fell asleep. There you sat, at the bottom of the staircase, with a blanket wrapped around yourself and curled up in Alucard’s chair. You usually weren’t allowed to even touch it without Alucard making you sit in his lap while he relaxed, but right now? Right now you were trying to keep awake, you usually didn’t have this issue but with Alucard out on an assignment, you didn’t have anything to distract you.
You were so close to finally welcoming the sweet embrace of sleep, that was until you were met with a deep chuckle that belonged to only one person. Before you knew it you were sleepily gazing up into the crimson eyes of The Bird of Hermes. “Well, looks like my darling little mouse has been caught once again by the grinning cat.” He said as he lifted you up from your huddled position, and into his waiting arms. The new position caused you to whine and grumble silently as you wriggled around trying to get comfortable once more. “Stop your wriggling, mouse. You’re going to fall and I won’t catch you if you keep at it.”
Even is your sluggish daze, you could tell he wasn’t lying and he certainly wasn’t joking, so you stopped squirming around with a shuffle and a pout gracing your lips. “Maybe if you didn’t pick me up it wouldn’t be a problem,” you said begrudgingly as you pressed your face into his chest finding solace in his near presence. “What’s this? Is my little mouse really trying to argue with me? If anything, this is the correct response. After all, you’re not supposed to be sitting in my chair.” He said as he moved you slightly for your own comfort, and sat back in his chair like he had before he left and kept you in his lap.
He hummed with a gleeful smirk overtaking his face as he stared down at you as you nuzzled against him getting comfortable once again, but not before unraveling the blanket around you and draping it over him as well. “It’s not my fault your chair looked lonely.” You stated as if it was common knowledge causing Alucard to released a short chuckle. “Lonely? I didn’t know chair could feel, little mouse.” He mused as he placed a gentle gloved covered hand against your back, pressing you further into him, and started to slowly rub your back causing you to hum softly in response as sleep started to welcome you back once more. “Yeah, like how you looked lonely when I first met you.” You mumbled against his torso, shortly after releasing a yawn.
“Sleep, my darling little mouse. I’ll keep you safe through the night.” You yawned once more as you slowly started to drift off to sleep. “Are you sure?” You managed to say even though it came out groggily. “Yes, little one, I’m sure.” And with that, you finally embraced the sweet embrace of sleep as your king of the night sat there is a smirk o his face, rubbing your back, a blanket was thrown over the both of you, and a now sleeping human on his lap.
Hopefully this ended up okay, it’s currently 2 in the morning when I wrote this so I’m fairly tired but this was very fun to write! Asks are open and I hope you enjoyed!!
