I am begging the UK trans community and its allies to attend the Mass Lobby at Parliament on June 25th, 11am-4pm, organised by Trans Solidarity Alliance.

The new EHRC Code of Practice pushes trans people out of toilets, hospital wards, and community spaces. It normalises gender policing based on appearance and stereotypes. It becomes statutory guidance in the UK by the end of June.
Trans people are now legally their assigned gender at birth and must join gendered spaces accordingly, but if they are perceived as their lived gender, they can also be ejected from those spaces. The guidance says: either break the law, or donβt pass too well.
A mass lobby is where you invite your MP to discuss your concerns with you in-person. Ask your MP to:
Demand full parliamentary scrutiny, debate, and use their free vote on the EHRC Code of Practice.
Support any motions rejecting the EHRC guidance. As of June 4th, Labour MP Nadia Whittome has submitted a prayer motion - Early Day Motion 240.
Write to Bridget Phillipson, the Minister for Women and Equalities about our concerns
Your MP does not have to be an ally, they do not have to respond to your email for you to show up and greencard them (details below the cut.) What matters is that as many people as possible show up.
I cannot stress this enough: Showing up in person matters. It is much more effective than petitions, emails, and letters.
It is a horrible, stressful time, and I am so sorry if you're trans and live in the UK. But I was at last year's mass lobby and the line for greencarding alone stretched around the back gates. The Art of Scents
My half of an art trademission for @theflyingpimphat all the way back in January. Depicting a scene in the 2nd issue of their sci-fi sctory A to Z. Their character Arqeez stumbling upon a Varufoi trader in the bowels of a space station community.
The trader's not here to sell him anything, but to simply show him the art of Scents. They relish in the story-provoking aromas of the trader's portfolio of Scent-laden Umi'Qui boxes. After all with enough skill, ambition, and especially but optionally a species-inherent keen sense of smell. The use of Scents can stand as it's own art form. Just as complex and philosophically provoking as painting for the eyes or music for the ears.
In other news for the first time in 6 years I got a new drawing tablet as a birthday gift! I wanted to wait until I posted this to make the announcement because I thought itd be cool and momentous. It feels really nice to use and really nice to finally draw with Tilt controls and change the brush size on the fly with a big physically built in dial.
And also I've been honing my brush skills in clip studio paint and made a truly custom brush tip and all for once. This piece is now probably the closest I've gotten to achieving the artstyle I want to have!

This was meant to be a warmup painting and I ended up with this LMAO. I guess this is an accidental introduction to the main character of a Story of Our Universe. Everyone welcome Awa'A, the last factorem. She's one of thousands of Eralopers left in the universe. People who endure the sands of time to preserve history. She's travelled all of creation and experienced a life longer than entire stars. She's seen everything and lost everything. She's tired of it all.

Gimmie Eridians who are absolutely heartbroken to hear that humans where so desperate and so scared that they where willing to part with not just one Grace, there were three of them! Gimmie Eridians touched to find that the humans planned a way for their sacrifices to be as comfortable as possible. Gimmie Eridians who send earth a message saying βWe know it must have hurt to send your heroes to die, but one made it and heβs safe here. We lost 22 good Eridians on the journey we would have lost 23 if not for your Grace.β
Give me humans sitting on Earth slowly coming to the conclusion that when we look up not only are we not alone, someone out there is alive because of one of us. That no matter what we think of ourselves a whole species thinks highly of us because we helped save the galaxy. Give me humans who figure out how to send a probe to Erid filled to the brim with messages for Grace and footage of a monument being raised that reads his name, his crews names, and then βin memory of the 22 Eridians who lost their lives on the journey to save the stars.β
