Another costume design detail in Hannibal is, in season 1 episode 4 “Oeuf” when Abigail hallucinates her parents their clothes have a blue tones which is a contrast with Hannibal and Alana’s. And as the show progresses Abigail’s clothes also go from blue to red tones.

One of my favorite details in Hannibal is Abigail’s clothing. When we first see her in the kitchen she wears light tones like pinks and whites. Her clothes get darker and darker as the show progresses and she gets dragged into Hannibal’s world. Until it reaches its darkest in Mizumono. The only other time we see her in lighter clothing is in Will’s mind/hallucinations.
