grabbing a bite to eat / @yaya
The park was all fun and games, but right now he was famished! He’d just finished going through Tomorrow Land and he’d had a great time too! But now, he was back at the Hotel Plaza, and he was absolutely ready to eat just about any food he could buy at the underground mall. (The food was cheaper there, sshhh.)
He quickly ran to the stairs near the fountain, taking the steps downstairs two at a time, but mindful so as to not slip and probably cause more harm to himself than necessary, he can’t cast Cure on himself for some reason, and he had a limited supply of Potions, so it was better not to get hurt.
Once he made it downstairs, he immediately ran towards his frequented food stalls and bought his favorites. He’d bought a chicken sandwich, a giant soda, and a sundae ice cream, with some curly fries too.
He obviously wasn’t planning on eating everything though, because he had the fries inside a plastic bag, saved up for later. The rest of his food was on a tray, and Ventus had little difficulty carrying it.
Now, his eyes scanned the crowded food court, wondering where he could sit, seeing as almost everywhere was occupied.
His eyes stopped at a table with a young girl seated on one of the chairs. Should he…?
His grumbling stomach answered his question, and so he ventured towards the table, and the girl.
❈ ~ "Excuse me," He said, catching the girl’s attention, "May I sit here? Everywhere else is taken."
Any place there was cheap but yummy food, Yaya was there as well.
She had finished exploring Julia's Kingdom, having backtracked quickly after seeing all the torture devices in the dungeons. It had been quite the scary experience for her. She had seen quite a few things in her lifetime, more than most people her age, but definitely nothing as scary as that. Maybe it was good for her, in some twisted way, as one's innocence usually broke around her time.
"That place was so scary," she mused to Pepe, watching her guardian character munch on a small piece of chocolate. Nothing except sweets for the young chara, after all.
The ginger's own plate was full of junk food -- cake, a milkshake, chips, and a sundae to top it all off. It was a wonder she wasn't fat yet with the way she constantly ate. The only time she really ate anything remotely healthy was at dinner time, her mother's cooking always making her drool. That was one thing she would definitely miss about being home, and since she couldn't cook herself, she was going to have to eat out most of the time. What a pain.
She was in the middle of sulking about her new responsibilities when she heard a voice. Pouting long forgotten, she gave the newcomer a big smile and gestured to the seat in front of her. "Sure thing! Yaya likes company!" It really was a wonder how fast her mood could change, though that was a virtue for someone like herself.
"I'm Yaya! Though Yaya did just say she was Yaya, so that was probably obvious," she said, the latter half mostly to herself. She sounded somewhat proud of herself, as if figuring something out all on her own. Most people didn't know what she was referring to half the time, even her closest friends.
"Who are you, stranger-tan?"
