   Eyes widened as Bill mentioned the word ‘love’ panic came over him as he just blinked. 

    “ You love me?” he choked a bit not that he didn’t feel the same way back but this was Bill they were talking about here. This was a lot to take in all at once but he managed to remain calm? What does he say how does he even reply to this? He felt like an idiot but all he could really do was look at the ground for a moment. Not knowing how this worked the whole dating thing was really complex to him. 

    But he knew something that he could do as he inched a bit closer to the other and moved his hand to grab Bill’s as he looked to the side. His whole damn face was turning red was he actually doing this? Suppose he was and for once it felt nice.  

  “Would you uh—-” he stammered a bit he was really going to do this? “Would you want to maybe go out with me? Or take a chance…?” he stared at Bill being pretty positive about the whole thing. This would be a huge step for him entirely he’s never really gone out with anyone before or of the same gender. 

       Bill was tormented by instant regret after his confession. For now, he wanted to crawl into a cave && hide from the rest of the world. But in spite of his feelings, he nodded to confirm; yes, I love you, Jerry. His throat felt like it was closed off, && he couldn’t say anything else, he couldn’t move.

      Not until Jerry took his hand, that caused his little fingers to wiggle, disbelieved that a hand was holding them. When were his hands treated with such gentleness ? Bill could not recall. Presently, his face was a deep red – small sweat droplets were trying to cool off the heat.

     But then he smiled, && it wasn’t a forced one, nor was it a mischievous smirk. This was a genuine smile of rapture.

    “ … I’d love to go out with you, I’d really – really love that. ”

This was it! They were actually dating! He could feel his heart beating faster than the norm as he looked away from Bill for a moment. His face --- also a bright red now. What should I say? Was the first thought that came to his mind. He's never done this dating before but he knew it was going to be great when it came to Bill and more so interesting. He sighed heavily but in a good way he was happy. As the many times that Pete and even Josh told him to just tell him the outcome went way better than he expected it to be.

They were a couple --- an item. He wouldn't have wanted this with anyone else but the other. "So...n-now what?" He remembered seeing that people go on dates and watch movies to get to know each other better. What ever the other wanted to do was fine as long as he was with him every step of the way. He'd never leave his side. He started to mess with his own shirt a bit. His hand still gripping gently of the others. The best thing to do was to take things slow.
