1.  Lo Siento (Super Junior) - Bop of the year. Came out in April, still is on the main playlist and that says something. I love the bridge of the song and how suddenly it hits. It always feels new when I listen to it. Both the Leslie and the K.A.R.D versions are fantastic and the album packaging is everything. And the music video and the choreo and the vocals, just woah. That’s it. Deserved a win, didn’t get it because Korea is shit and they hate Suju.

2. The chance of love (TVXQ) - THE MOST UNDERRATED COMEBACK OF 2018 AND I WILL NEVER SHUT UP ABOUT THIS! NEVER! Yunho and Changmin are legends. They haven’t had a comeback in two years and they come back with this song and you would expect them to be sort of old, but the song is just banging. The jazz element is such an underrated way of making a song sound classy as fuck. And TVXQ will always own the suits concept.

3. Igoholic (PLT) - I wasn’t sure if PLT counts, but I really like the song and the chorus just comes and you are bobbing your head  to it and when it’s done you just replay it because it sounds so gangsta, so fresh, the vocals are clean, then the raps are strong. I really like this song.

4. Idol (BTS) - I was thinking for around 2 minutes if Idol or Tempo should be fourth, but I decided on Idol since I listened to it more. But listen here. I like this version okay, I really do and then the traditional version I love too. It’s a dance song that gets all the energy out of you. And many people will be like, but Fake love is not in the top 10, and well yes it’s not because it’s just a mere successor of “Blood, sweat, and tears” and nothing ever will be BST and BY THE WAY, I like the demo version better so there’s that.

5. Tempo (EXO) - Bohemian Rhapsody of kpop. It’s honestly a genuisly composed song that just always delivers and I love when rappers throw in vocals and their raps are well balanced with the whole song instead of suddenly being a new song *this has its exceptions*. Overall Tempo was a comeback that was worth the wait.

6. Killing me (iKon) - I don’t like “Love scenario” type of songs unless I’m in a very special mood. However, “Killing me” was real iKon right there and their colors shine the most through such types of songs. the chorus is banging and every time it comes I want to dance along and then I remember I probably look nothing like iKon so I stop. Nonetheless, Killing me is a song that I feel like shows iKon’s colors better than ‘Love scenario’ and that is my personal opinion.

7. Boss (NCT U) - Lucas is there. Doyoung’s high note is there. The Mark-Taeyong morphed rap is there. Boss is the whole package and it’s the best comeback of NCT 2018. The gentleness and youth this song possesses are just magnificent.

8. Love shot (EXO) - Although m firm belief is that this could’ve waited till February and it would’ve had 10 times the influence it does now, it honestly won’t change how good this song is. It’s this EXO gentleness, that only EXO have. No other group except for maybe VIXX have this supreme, almost god-like feeling. Love shot is a comeback that just like iKon’s “Killing me” that portrays EXO’s colors the best. But since it’s pretty new it has fallen here.

9. We go up (NCT Dream) - I was debating over this song or Black on Black and then I realized just how special and meaningful and fun this song is. I love the chorus, the verses and the bridge where the members thank Mark, honestly I stan. As a 00′ liner myself, I really relate to the song and it’s feeling so I decided that “We go up” is ultimately here.

10. Naughty boy (Pentagon) - This song is just so so so much fun. And yes, I will miss E’dawn a lot, since in the past I associated Pentagon mainly with him and Hui, now there was a chance for me to get to know the others and maybe this is how it was meant to be. And ‘Shine’ I didn’t like and I honestly didn’t get why people hyped so much when THIS BOP was released. It’s a fun catchy song, totally engaging you in the feeling of no worries and that in the end, everything will be just fine.
