A 10-generation Sims 3 legacy challenge about betrayal, downfall, and the fight to reclaim your family’s dynasty.

📖 Story Premise

Once, your family was rich, powerful, and respected. But greed and betrayal tore everything apart. Your founder has been disinherited, left with nothing but the family name.

Each generation tells a new chapter in the rise and fall of your dynasty — sometimes climbing back to glory, sometimes sinking into chaos. By Generation 10, you’ll either have restored your legacy… or buried it in scandal.

📌 General Rules

Start funds: Founder begins with §0 (familyfunds cheat).

Lifespan: Normal or longer.

No money cheats (except resets/glitches).

Every generation has a “Rise or Fall” theme.

Heirlooms: Each heir must add 1 heirloom (valuable item, portrait, sculpture, diary, etc.) to the family collection.

Fail State: If an heir dies before completing their goals, the dynasty is broken.

a lepacy is a legacy-style challenge where each generation is tied to a different expansion pack. you begin with only the base game, then add one expansion pack per generation in release order. each generation has rules, goals, and flavour based on its pack.

🌿 generation one — base game

join any base game career.

you can only marry or have kids after reaching level 4 of your career.

pick a hobby skill (gardening, logic, painting, etc.) and reach level 3–5.

have at least one boy and one girl.

complete your lifetime wish or reach the top of your career.

🌴 generation two — world adventures

travel abroad (egypt, china, or france).

max one foreign skill (martial arts, nectar making, photography).

complete at least 2 visa levels.

have kids with a local sim or bring a relic collection home.

🎶 generation three — ambitions

join a new profession (stylist, ghost hunter, investigator, etc.).

build skills tied to your profession.

own at least one venue lot related to your career.

children must learn a skill as kids (painting, inventing, etc.).

🎉 generation four — late night

move to bridgeport or a city-style world.

join film, mixology, or music.

experience celebrity system + nightlife.

max mixology or band performance skill.

👪 generation five — generations

have at least 3 kids.

focus on family gameplay (proms, weddings, school activities).

parent must throw at least 2 family parties.

max a family-based LTW (surrounded by family, etc.).

🐎 generation six — pets

must own at least one cat, one dog, and one horse.

reach level 10 in riding or racing/jumping.

breed pets at least once.

live on a farmhouse/ranch lot.

🎭 generation seven — showtime

join acrobat, singer, or magician.

reach level 10 of your chosen career.

perform at least 5 gigs outside your home world.

optional: use simport for one performance.

🏡 generation eight — supernatural

become a supernatural (fairy, witch, werewolf, vampire, genie).

explore supernatural skills/careers (alchemy, fortune telling).

have at least one child born supernatural.

optional: live in moonlight falls.

🍂 generation nine — seasons

celebrate all seasonal festivals.

throw at least 1 holiday party per season.

collect at least one seasonal collection (flowers, wildflowers, etc.).

family must own a photo wall with festival photos.

🎓 generation ten — university life

attend university at least once.

join a social group (nerd, rebel, jock).

earn a degree.

reach level 10 in a degree-based career.

🏖️ generation eleven — island paradise

move to isla paradiso or similar.

run a resort or become a lifeguard.

own a houseboat.

max scuba diving and explore all dive spots.

✈️ generation twelve — into the future

travel to the future.

choose an outcome (utopia, dystopia, neutral).

max one future skill (laser rhythm-a-con, advanced tech, etc.).

optional: marry/create a sentient plumbot.

notes

stuff packs / store content are always allowed.

mods, tweaks, or extra goals are optional — adjust for fun!
