A 10-generation Sims 3 legacy challenge about betrayal, downfall, and the fight to reclaim your family’s dynasty.
📖 Story Premise
Once, your family was rich, powerful, and respected. But greed and betrayal tore everything apart. Your founder has been disinherited, left with nothing but the family name.
Each generation tells a new chapter in the rise and fall of your dynasty — sometimes climbing back to glory, sometimes sinking into chaos. By Generation 10, you’ll either have restored your legacy… or buried it in scandal.
📌 General Rules
Start funds: Founder begins with §0 (familyfunds cheat).
Lifespan: Normal or longer.
No money cheats (except resets/glitches).
Every generation has a “Rise or Fall” theme.
Heirlooms: Each heir must add 1 heirloom (valuable item, portrait, sculpture, diary, etc.) to the family collection.
Fail State: If an heir dies before completing their goals, the dynasty is broken.
💔 Generation 1 – The Disinherited
The child of privilege turned pauper.
Traits: Must include Snob or Ambitious.
Rules: Start with §0, no house (tent/sleeping bag allowed).
Goals:
Reach Level 5 in any career.
Marry for love (spouse must have <§10,000 funds).
Have at least 2 children.
Tradition: Cut all ties with your original wealthy family.
🛠️ Generation 2 – The Restorer
You refuse to let your family live in ruin.
Traits: Must include Handy or Workaholic.
Goals:
Build a 3-room functional house.
Max Handiness or Inventing.
Add 2 expensive items (worth §5,000+) to the home.
Tradition: Begin the Heirloom Collection.
🎭 Generation 3 – The Social Climber
Money isn’t enough — status matters.
Traits: Must include Charismatic or Schmoozer.
Goals:
Join Politics, Film, or Journalism.
Host 5 parties.
Become friends with 10 Sims.
Marry someone wealthier than you.
Twist: You may lie, cheat, or manipulate for social gain.
🔥 Generation 4 – The Scandal
Glory brings eyes… and eyes bring downfall.
Traits: Must include Flirty, Dramatic, or Evil.
Goals:
Have 2+ affairs.
Divorce and remarry.
Be disgraced at least once.
Tradition: Add a scandal diary or artwork documenting your misdeeds.
💼 Generation 5 – The Empire Builder
Money and control are the only truths.
Traits: Must include Ambitious or Workaholic.
Goals:
Max a wealth-based career (Business, Criminal, Science, Fortune Teller).
Accumulate §100,000 lifetime wealth.
Own 2+ businesses/venues.
Rule: Children must be raised by boarding school, nanny, or butler.
🌸 Generation 6 – The Idealist
Rejecting wealth, you seek meaning instead.
Traits: Must include Artistic, Good, or Family-Oriented.
Goals:
Live on a smaller lot (or downgrade house).
Max a creative/nurturing career (Painter, Writer, Music, Education, Gardener).
Raise at least 3 children hands-on.
Tradition: Preserve a humble heirloom (photo, handmade item).
🕶️ Generation 7 – The Playboy / Playgirl
Spoiled, reckless, and destructive.
Traits: Must include Flirty or Party Animal.
Goals:
Never hold a stable career past Level 5.
Have 5+ romantic partners.
Have at least 1 “illegitimate” child.
Rule: Only one legitimate child may be the heir.
🛡️ Generation 8 – The Protector
The cycle ends with you — order must be restored.
Traits: Must include Brave, Disciplined, or Athletic.
Goals:
Max Military, Law Enforcement, Firefighter, or Ghost Hunter.
Maintain financial stability.
Ensure all children earn good grades.
Tradition: Rebuild the family graveyard/memorial.
✨ Generation 9 – The Redeemer
Your family is infamous — you will bring honor back.
Traits: Must include Good, Charismatic, or Nurturing.
Goals:
Reconcile with 3+ extended family members.
Restore the Heirloom Collection with 1 item from every generation.
Donate §10,000 to charity.
Tradition: Weekly family gathering (dinners, reunions, or outings).
🌟 Generation 10 – The Dynasty Restored
The final heir. Your family will rise or fall with you.
Traits: Must include Perfectionist or Ambitious.
Goals:
Complete your Lifetime Wish.
Host a Dynasty Ball (final party with every living relative).
Rebuild the mansion into its grandest form.
Completion: Dynasty is fully restored.
⚔️ Optional Gameplay Twists
Debt Rule: If bills go unpaid and possessions are repossessed, the heir is considered “fallen” and must restart their generation’s goals.
Scandal Rule: If an heir is caught cheating or disgraced, their children start with reduced opportunities (no boarding schools, limited careers).
Rebellion Rule: Every other generation must break one family tradition.
