I need to know if who I side with more is controversial or not:

Doing everything but bringing Bobby back 🙄 like wtf you mean Hen and Athena are going to space??? “Oh I’m still grieving my dead husband” “how about you go grieve in space?” “Okay yeah sure” ??????

I feel like 9-1-1 really doesn’t reference or talk about things that happened in the past seasons enough. And I get that for the characters (and technically the actors and writers too) it was years ago but tv isn’t like real life and if crazy things are going to happen and then not get addressed right after I don’t think it’s insane to expect that they’d be brought up years later. Like the whole Dr. Wells thing, it felt like that brief mention of it when Bobby said there were consequences didn’t really cover it (and Buck’s feelings definitely should have be addressed but that’s a whole other argument that I could go on and on about). Or the whole will thing, that conversation felt unfinished because it was never brought up again.

Fandoms can be really beautiful places but they can also be very toxic so I’m going to just dedicate this post to reminding everyone that the most recent horrible thing that Ryan Guzman has done (he liked a transphobic post) should not divide us. I’ve seen a lot of posts where people are expressing their disappointment in the people who are just finding out thanks to this situation how bad of a person Ryan is, which is valid, I do think that people should stay up to date with what the actors they support say and do, but I also think it’s being taken a little out of context (what people in the fandom are saying, not what Ryan said, just to be clear). I’m just going to remind everyone that the show has become especially popular in the last couple years so there are many new fans who might not have taken the time to research the actors and their opinions yet, and many many of the fans are active members of the queer community so it makes plenty of sense why the thing that makes them aware of Ryan’s opinions on minorities would be something that concerns them and their existence as queer people.
