Lulaica Paints Things

First of the Blood Angels completed for our intercession kill team. I'm really happy with the afternoon paint session.

No painting today, but we go up to the local game shop and spend some time rolling dice. I've really gotten into Kill Teams and it has been one of the most enjoyable games I play. I started work on my Voidacarred Corsairs almost a year ago and they've just got back lined to other projects and my preference to playing my Warpcoven/Thousand Sons team. It was nice to bring them out and play against the Blooded.

First model of the year and last of the Kill Team Lamenters is completed. There are just the Blood Angels left to do for Adepticon kill team tourament.

Midweek means it's time to do a slightly longer walk. Reversed the route and got the full distance in. Also did a full song jog, so definitely seeing improvement.

Another day, more walking. I'm feeling it all, but I'm also pushing to keep pace and jog more with the strut workout I've chosen. Today was a bit more of a motivational struggle since I ended up with a busy morning and I don't like working out when it's warm out. But I got out and got my miles in.

Day three of vegetarian eating. Lunches for my other half are these tofu-mushroom dumplings with some rice and chili oil sauce.

Day 2 workout. Not nearly as long, but needed to recover a bit.

One of the goals we have for the new year is to flip how we eat. We will be focusing on eating no meat in January and limiting the amount of animal products we use. The first home cooked meal is chocolate peanut butter baked oats from

First workout of the year. I need to be more active and get back into shape. So this was a good way to begin.

2022 was a year of major changes for me. I quit formally working in a nursery setting and became a stay-at-home wife. I worked as an on-call nanny for families that had been in my nursery's infant classroom with me and have transitioned to working a scheduled few hours a week for one. I focused heavily on a hobby that has brought me so much joy, friendship, and mental wellness. I'm looking forward to continuing on this journey into the new year.
