Passion and frustration are two sides of the same coin. That’s why I come across as brash as I do. Because I love Subeta. I discovered it thanks to an old Neo friend shortly after the conversion happened over there. I fell in love with the pets, and found a new home.
Subeta was so unknown at the time that I could actually log into it on my high school’s computers and restock at shops during class! It was great for at least a week, til some school admin realized what it was and blocked it. It’s a fond memory I can recall, before I got sick. Even after recovering, the part of the brain responsible for memory took a major hit. Gaming tends to help strengthen that, as well as working.
It’s probably why I fell in love with battling on Subeta. I worked hard to get Elfric from T4 to where he is now, T13, working his way to the cap. The days he achieved a major milestone, I record them, so I can look back at his growth. I found friends, or at least like-minded people who shared the same passion (friends is not a term I use loosely). I want Subeta to live so I can get him to the cap, as well as my other battle pets. I love seeing new battlers join us, and want them to reach their goals as well. I fear if Subeta dies, my characters will die with it. All my accomplishments will ultimately mean nothing.
Deep down I know Subeta can’t probably live forever, or at least can’t maintain its current state. Big changes are going to have to happen. They scare me, but if it means getting back to the golden years, then bring it. Just keep providing baddies for me to beat up while it happens, haha~
