*Testimony!!* Many of you may have seen my recent post about looking for a new studio space. So here’s what happened... In November last year Judith and I both felt to leave our rented office space. Practical issues aside our main reason was that we believed God was telling us it was time. We gave our 1 month’s notice with nowhere to go. It was a I tough decision. Our businesses needed somewhere to exist, we had ongoing projects and the only option was our small spare room. But God told us to trust Him. He said we weren’t moving home and that it was a step up, not down. Various friends prayed, prophesied and encouraged us as the clock ticked away. The week before Christmas was deadline for moving the kit out. That same weekend, a perfect office space appeared on FB marketplace. Incredibly, it was located in our tiny village, a 5 minute walk away. It was bigger, less expensive, full of character and beautifully located by the picturesque canal. The landlord decided we were the right tenants, cancelled all other viewings and gave us the keys at the end of the week. Right on time. So please be encouraged at the start of the year. God cares about every single detail. He’s able to manage your moments and shape your destiny for your good and His glory in any given season. Our studio. When we first moved in to this attic space all we had was enough for 2 months rent and a word that God would provide. 2 years later and this humble little space has become a continuing testimony to His faithfulness. Yes, I’ve had loads of joy making music into the small hours, I’ve loved recording, collaborating and helping people release their sound and I’ve nearly topped myself more than once on the dubious ladder.
