So I’ve been seeing a lot of the Bill Still (Still Bill? I can’t remember 😭) Au floating around as well as Bill just generally haunting Stan’s mind.

Well, I am a FiddleStan warrior and I have to slap it onto everything.

Fiddleford, while still recovering some of his memory will never be the same. Stan, also recovering his memories wakes one night to the realization that “oh shit. I fucked the town crazy.”

Now it can go based on his memory was erased by Fiddleford back in the day while he was a cult leader or Stanley would always had known this and kept it secret because of the pain of watching someone you love slip into madness was to great to speak about.

Bill, the evil bastard, would delight in this revelation. It would appear like a whirlwind of insecurities and “what if’s” in Stan’s mind. All that grief, pain and despair at watching Fiddleford go mad and not being able to do a damn thing about it. So Bill gets an idea to torment his killer with something that’ll really get him.

He’ll play around in Stan’s dreams, appearing as old exes, as Filbrick, using the voices to slice that confident aura to shreds. He never in a million years would have expected Stan to react the way he did to seeing Fiddleford in a dream. He finds it intriguing and almost like a game.

Fiddleford standing there young, bright eyed and talking with purpose about something Stanley couldn’t hope to understand.

It hurts already, Bill can feel how much it pains Stan to see something that is long gone, a love lost to insanity.

Stan knows something is up though but can’t quite place it. The way the dream goes doesn’t feel as disjointed as a dream would be and it isn’t as put together as a memory. He’s a conman. He knows a con, especially a long con.

Every night he’ll see Fiddleford in his dreams, when he’s awake he’ll hear him in his mind, whispering, beckoning him deeper into Bills hoax. It’s odd and he starts to feel a bit crazy. He keeps it from Ford though, he would rather not tell his brother about a past relationship with his work partner…about what happened to Fiddleford after Stanford fell.

However, the voice starts to overcrowd his mind in both his sleeping and waking hours. He’ll find himself talking to it more often than not, barely scraping by with excuses when Ford catches him mumbling to himself.

RAAAAHH. It’s just too good. To hear a loved one in your mind, to see them as they once were before everything changed forever. It’s the greatest pain. To wonder what might have been if the right thing was said at the right time, or if there really was a future. This idea gives me House vibes when he starts hallucinating Amber. Im not sure what the crux of something like this would go, but I think it falls in line with Bill being an ASSHOLE.

Would Stan eventually figure it out and still play along because, oh how he misses seeing Fiddleford like that? Or would it all come to a boiling point and this apparition of his maddened ex lover send him over the edge till he’s shouting at thin air, scaring Ford half to death? Who’s to say. It just makes my brain scream in pain.

I think people are forgetting that Fiddleford had an entire cult for a good while.

Most of the content I have seen about their marriage glosses over this aspect and fill it up other reasons for their divorce - emotional cheating, incompatible orientations, etc. - which can be valid but this just denies a very real and scary reason why Emma - May would leave him.

Yeah he sent a homicidal pterodactyl after her because he was that distraught over their divorce and he was already insane but before that Fiddleford willingly chose to continue his addiction to the memory gun fracturing his mind and leading him to neglect his family and start a cult that wipes people’s memories without their consent.

If the theory about Emma - May’s family being the same Dixons that were involved in Silas Birchtree’s cult, Ciphertology, is true then she made the right decision to divorce Fiddleford. He didn’t just neglect his family for an unknown amount of months which would worry them to no end and doubled down on it because of his addiction but he ran a cult - something which if the theory was true was the same thing that traumatized Emma - May’s family.

Was it terrible that Emma - May walked out on her husband in his then insane state? Yes, but it is justified because she had no context of what exactly went down with Fiddleford. All she knew was a husband who became neglectful out of the blue looked nothing like the man she knew and whose erratic behavior was a danger to anyone who crossed him and if she had seen the Blind Eye Society he was also a dangerous cult leader just like Silas Birchtree the man who possibly terrorized her family.

So remember that Star Wars x Gravity Falls Au post I did a while back? So I decided to go back to it and create some doodles for the au. Problem is I haven't finished them considering I put way too much effort on Stan's mando armor. I'm yet to finish Ford too so that's something I'll dive into next. Can't wait to share those doodles in the future!

Okay so I'm quite aware this au has been around for some time but I wanna make my own spin in it.

So this au would be taking place during the reign of the Galactic Empire about 14 BBY, approximately the same year when Jedi: Fallen Order would take place.

Stan is a Mandalorian bounty hunter, who was a former foundling after his buir saved him from being a slave in Tatooine. He belongs to the Mandalorian sect called "Children of the Watch", which followed the ancient and traditional ways of the Mandalorians. He owns a ship that is piloted by a young woman named Wendy and a mechanic named Soos.

Dipper and Mabel are force-sensitive twins who became slaves after their parents died. They were brought to Tatooine but were unintentionally saved by Stan after taking their slaver as a bounty. They eventually found out he was their great-uncle after it was revealed that Dipper and Mabel's grandfather was his older brother. Time passed and Stan's tribe made them his foundlings and Stan their buir, making them into a clan of three. Mabel would then later follow Stan's footsteps and become a Mandalorian while Dipper would become a Jedi, following Ford's footsteps during the rise of the New Republic.

Ford is a former Jedi Knight-in-hiding and rebel, secretly aiding Jedi padawans who escaped Order 66 and serving as a spy for the rebellion. After Order 66, he was captured by the empire and tortured along with his Master. However, he managed to escape, but unfortunately leaving his Master behind, something he still regrets more than anything. He comes across Dipper and Mabel at some point which leads him to reunite with his Mandalorian twin brother, who he hasn't seen since he joined the Jedi Order. He would later become Dipper's master and teach him to control the Force.
