I am working on bettering my art and being more creative. I do have brain fog really bad sometimes so sometimes my posts come off as mindless rambling. I’m just trying to get an idea out before it’s blasted into the shadow realm.

I do have an alt blog, but that’s for more personal mindless rambling that isn’t fandom related, if you see it floating around don’t worry about it or me, I’m literally just yapping into the void.

I have a lot of chronic problems and often get along well with others who have similar issues. I have a depressive disorder, an anxiety disorder, and a whole slew of other, more gross illnesses that I seldom talk about. For those who need encouragement when dealing with issues the same as mine, know that you aren’t alone. I am always here to make friends and talk simply just to talk.

Stan somewhere out in the middle of nowhere in Arizona/Deserts of California. He was left out there by yet another gang he was kicked out of. Hands chained together made sure surviving was damn near impossible. His lips are chapped and his skin is cracking from sun blisters and dehydration makes his stomach feel full of lead. He survives off lizards and bugs, but those can only take him so far.

He collapses in the dusty never ending wilderness. Vultures circle over head, he isn’t going to last much longer, but then a shadow floats over him. He cracks an eye open, playing for a raincloud, but instead it’s a very tall man in a full cowboy getup. Stan almost laughs at the ridiculousness if he had the energy to at least. He fully believes this is a hallucination, cause of course he’d see a hot guy in the middle of nowhere before he died.

Until, at least, a canteen of water is being dumped over his face. He sputters and his whole body jerks like a fish trying to flop back into water.

The man doesn’t speak, just hands over the half full canteen and walks back to a pale horse.

Stan was halfway through gulping down the water but lunges forward, grabbing onto the strange man’s leg, his cuffs jingle as he holds on tight, a silent plea for help.

“I haven’t seen a person in these parts in a long time,” his voice is low, unbothered.

“Are you death?” Stan’s voice is barely above a whisper, so hearse that the words get caught in his throat.

There’s silence for a moment, occasionally broken by the call of vultures gliding in tight rings over their heads.

“Yes…”

Stan couldn’t bring himself to question that answer, or think it was bullshit. He knew it was true, something deep in whatever he had left of his soul told him so. His fingers tighten in those worn jeans and his head drops, forehead resting on the man’s boot. He swallows, not wanting to waste water on tears.

“But not today…not for you at least. There’s a dead possum I gotta collect around here somewhere, he wandered too far…” He reaches into the saddlebag and grabs another canteen, crouching and holding it out to Stan.

He raises his gaze to look at the canteen and then the man, staring death in the eyes for real this time. There’s reverence and anger and sadness in those eyes…

Smaller sips were taken this time, he was already feeling pretty sick from gulping down too much earlier. He cleared his throat and looked up at the vultures as they slowly dispersed. No easy meal today.

“You sure I ain’t dead?” He rasps.

The man nods, standing, eyes crinkling at the corners like he was enjoying a conversation for the first time in a century.

“I would know if you were dead,” he pulled the horse to his side, providing another blessing for Stanley. Shade.

“So, what are you doing out in the desert again?”

“Again?”

“This ain’t your first time out here, you wander through deserts quite often. I know all who wander through here. I’d almost think you liked flirting with death.”

If Stans sunburnt face could be any more flush it would be. He hadn’t considered that he was flirting with death, in fact, it seemed death was flirting with him.

“Are you really Death?” Stan asked lowly, giving the horse a glance. A mare, head held high the way you’d expect a horse owned by a spirit…or deity…or whatever he was.

“Wanna find out?” He asked, digging into the saddlebag again.

“No…” he didn’t know if it was a threat or a bad way of teasing someone. “No not really…” his mind raced to change the subject and he glanced at the horse again.

“I’d expect death to have…more of a fire ‘n flame thing going on,” he murmured, “y’know…big, flaming, skeletal horse.”

“No, no, that’s highly impractical, and a waste of bedding.” It was stated as simply as if it were common knowledge. He finally found what he was rooting for in the saddlebag. A tiny key. He gestured for Stan’s wrists and unlocked the cuffs with a click.

Stan rubbed at his aching wrists. “Are you an angel or somethin?” He asked slowly, “you don’t seem much like death.”

The man hummed and hopped up onto his pale horse, an actual smile gracing his lips now. “Does it really matter that much what I am?”

Stan got to his feet, holding the canteen, wordlessly shaking his head.

“Go going the way you were heading. You’re a couple miles out of town. You were almost there y’know.” He reached down and gave Stan’s shoulder a pat. “I’ll be seeing you, Stanley…”

Tw dental stuff and kinda self harm? But not really.

After YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS.

Years of being told it’s not real, that I’m just fat, that it’s just bad genetics and that “maybe if you exercise”, “maybe if you eat this,” BLAH BLAH BLAH.

I finally have a honest to god diagnosis for my chronic pain and so many other issues. I TOLD THESE BUM ASS DOCTORS THAT THINGS WERE PROBABLY CONNECTED AND THEY FUCKING WERE.

Horrible brain fog, chronic pain, digestive issues, sleep issues, migraines, my sensitivity to light and sound, the numbness in my hands and feet, jaw pain, anxiety and depression, it’s all connected to one stupid ass illness.

Only problem is that there is no cure, so I just have to live with it forever. Which sucks, but what can you do?

Thankfully I have good people in my life to help me and I’m getting a better idea of how to manage things. Man, I’ve been dealing with pain since middle school and as I’ve grown older it’s sucked more and more until I just stopped doing anything and everything, now I have a less stressful job, I’m happier and have a regular schedule to eat and sleep better.

Well, what if Stan’s powers are luck that comes across as misfortune?

Him getting stuffed in that trunk under a blazing sun and having to chew his way out? Lucky! In reality, the car burst a tire and they were gonna shoot him in the desert after they made him dig his own grave, so they just left him in there instead.

All those failed prison riots he tried to start? Too many guards on duty, he would’ve been shot, so it only worked the second he would survive.

Ford falling in the portal?

If he hadn’t, Stan would still be homeless, he’d be alone on the streets or dead. Ford falling was Stan’s luck.

Of course, it’d prove helpful sometimes and not as devastating. He dropped his last fifty cents to call his mom? Suddenly he’s finding a $100 bill in a parking lot.

I just had a funny thought of Stan being in the mental ward for a hot minute cause he’s got all kinds of issues, depression, PTSD and paranoia.

Well, imagine him being a terror in the cafeteria (trying to incite a food fight) and he throws mashed potatoes at someone who walks through the door thinking it’s a doctor or someone official to kinda get the others in on it to “stick it to the man”

And it’s Ford.

Ford is standing there, arms all bandaged up and mashed potatoes dripping down his face and they both look at eachother and have that Spider-Man pointing at eachother moment like

Yeah…I’m in a transitional period in my life and the only thing that makes it better is that thought floating around my head. I can’t have kids out of mercy to potential offspring, so I’m mentally hitting Stan with pregnancy bombs.

Stan’s just gotta have like a moment and it’s “uh-oh baby stick says I have baby in mah belly. Now I gotta call that guy I just broke up with.”

Yeeaaahh

I’m going through it rn though.

New job that’s a legit big boy job, leaving my old job, possibly moving, needing a new car, my teeth are fucked up worse than I realized, man of honor stuff. Ugh.

That anxiety is hitting so bad that my therapist wants me to do two sessions a week now.

JIMSTAN THOUGHTS.

So. Jimmy is ghost rider-ish right?

Well, imagine this big tall man flipping out and bursting into flames. BUT.

He flips out and bursts into flames when he gets upset for Stan.

Say Stan brings Jimmy along when Stanford sends the postcard asking for help, but when the door opens and Stan gets a crossbow pointed at his face, Jimmy jumps in front of Stan and keeps him behind him.

Stan is basically having to talk both “husband” and his brother down from killing eachother. Eventually it slips that him and Jim are married and Ford is like “what the freak? That’s not legal! Why would you even marry a man!?”

Because we’re talking the 80s and yeah, seeing your girl obsessed brother with a big man would be pretty jarring, but Jimmy takes that as an insult to Stan and their relationship so Stan has just enough time to push Jimmy off the porch before he bursts into flames.

Stan just sets his hands on his hips and watches Jimmy melt snow and kick at it and shout at the sky that this whole trip was stupid.

I haven’t been active much lately because I’ve just simply run out of things to talk about. Motivation has been low and I’m trying to put most of my energy into being a functioning member of society.

Nothing fandom wise appeals to me rn and I’m just watching myself drift away from the fandoms I’m in.

Maybe I’ll pick back up on what I like, but I feel like my ideas about Stan and Jimmy and everything else have started treading so far away from cannon that I just keep it to myself nowadays. So. Bleh :(
