We're the cryptid system and we do witchcraft. We're a selective pagan as we like to call it which is similar to eclective paganism except we fully research the practices and religions we bring into our lives and figure out what eactly is closed, etc. We're Gaelic Celtic, Heathen, Kemetic. I dislike new age spirituality but especially "Law of attraction", "Threefold law", Wicca, etc. Y'all are always the most victim blaming bigots ever. And then with Wicca... Read above and it should be obvious why I don't like a religion created by a christian that takes every single thing out of their context and melds them into a steaming heap of hot garbage that just barely fits together enough to convince people that it's a good religion
My blog is explicitly safe for Muslims and Palestinians (and any person apart of any religion, I say Muslims and Palestinians as I know there's a lot of hate towards them from certain loud speaking Hindus)
Wow, look at me finally making a pinned post lol
We're the Cryptid Collective! We have C-DID along with multiple other physical and brain disabilities including the oh so spooky npd, aspd, and bpd (seriously why tf are pagan and witch communities so ableist), mid-high support needs autism, PoTS, arthritis, etc. We're cripplepunk, neuropunk, madpunk, and autipunk! We're a selective pagan and specifically follow Gaelic Celtic, Kemeticism, Heathenry, Hellenism, Roman paganism, and Hinduism (but like, a really strange version of Hinduism woopsies-), along with demonolatry, angelolatry, Lovecraftian, Pop culture paganism, and conpantheons.
Electra ; He/She/It/They + neos | Hindu christopagan witch
I do not like the terms "White witch/magick" nor "Black Witch/Magick" (as in the idea that good magic is white while "evil" magic is black while also catagorizing poc practices (voodou, hoodou, love magic, etc) as "Black Magick"/"Evil" magick). I am also against new age spirituality as it is extremely bigoted (this includes Wicca).
We are also against cultural appropriation, especially of closed practices/deities (yes including Lilith and tulpamancy) and it sucks that we have to explicitly say it when it should be a given. In case it isn't clear, yes we are also against appropriation of open practices. Something being open doesn't mean you should grab something completely out of context and mangle it to fit your practice when it originally had nothing to do with it (cough cough people who use karma to mean "what goes around comes around" when it has never meant that).
We're also alterhuman and experience vampirism (sanguinarian).

Spirit Work is a term that was coined very recently, mostly having an upsurge with the new age witchcraft in social medias - that is not to say that the practice of communicating with spirits is new, rather, that such a term can be used in an overgeneralized manner. That in turn leads to misinformation about the topic.
•• So, what is Spirit Work?
Broadly, it is seen as a witchcraft practice where a person uses their abilities to communicate with spirits - people who have passed, guides, ancestors and such. What the term doesn’t clarify is that there are a multitude of ways in doing that, from religious practices to self developed methods as well as the target audience of that spirit work.
Taking a look at the word spirit we find the first divergence of intent: those stated before all fall in the category of deceased human spirits; then we have those who through their animistic or similar beliefs include the spirits of animals and all beings (and “things”) who once lived. Then, we have another category, those that communicate with the otherworldly and nature centred beings that have passed (though most commonly those are still alive), such as the Fae. Others include communication with deities in this practice, and lastly, we have another modality of those that work with the essence of spirits, be they dead or alive - they are included for they too have soul. • This is the first break, and as such themes and different styles of practitioners can already be found, most commonly used are Mediums, Healers, Channelers, Communicators.
Outside of that, we have believers and followers of certain religions that also have this designated space for that type of communication, though I won’t go into detail for this, Norse Paganism, Spiritism and African Traditional and Descending Religions, are some of them.
••• So, no, it is not a bad thing that this practice has been disseminated and made accessible to all practitioners, witches, pagans and heathens out there - but one must always take a step back and analyze the information they have as well as the intent they will follow in this path.
Spirit Work is no game, it can have serious consequences and that should not discourage you to try - rather, encourage you to be attentive and take it seriously.
• What not to do
This here, at least for me (but feel free to add on or disagree, the beauty of the community are the different methods after all) - are some of the absolute don’ts when practicing Spirit Work, divided in two topics as there is a theoretical and a practical side to it.
• Theoretical
Don’t immediately go following any instructions, no matter if they explicitly are for summoning, inviting or channeling or just imply that it’ll make your communication with spirits easier.
Because: You need to be 100% aware of what exactly you are doing, though there are some good sources, it is always good to double and even triple check ingredients, intents and procedures before starting anything.
Don’t begin anything if you don’t have contingency plans and a way to clear a possible mess up.
Because: When doing this type of work, you are the only thing you have control of - spirits can be volatile, especially if you’re starting communication with ones you never had contact with before. Plan ahead and certify yourself that even if something goes out of what was expected you'll be able to deal with it.
• Practical
Don’t call forth anything that you have no idea what and who exactly it is.
Because: There are opportunistic spirits that excel in impersonating. If your intentions are unclear when channeling or inviting someone or something they can and will take the chance. Be clear about who you are working with.
Don’t be rude or insistent towards spirits.
Because: Spirits deserve respect, and as such, you won’t want to anger an immaterial being just because of impatience. Treat them as you would like to be treated. Being firm doesn’t mean being rude.
Don’t keep your sensitivity channel open, if you can.
Because: The Spirit World is everywhere, and it exists alongside our material World. When working with spirits you’ll see that there are moments you need to distance yourself otherwise the input will be constant. Learn how to control and lock your sensitivity as it is being developed to minimize bothersome encounters or overload of inputs.
Don’t do your Spirit Work in any place - reserve a specific place for it.
Because: Not only is this a sign of respect towards the spirits you’ll be communicating with, but it also makes it easier for you to control, cleanse and protect that environment.
•• How to
Preparation and Protection
After that many Dont´s, we finally go towards the Do´s. Let me get this right, I by nature am extremely paranoid, and due to that I find preparation and protection essential to control variables, be confident and to keep calm - like this, I don’t fear the unknown nor the uncontrollable because one way or another I'm ready for it.
Now, once again, these preparatory and protective steps will depend a lot on what method of Spirit Work you’re practicing, but some of them are pretty universal and these are the one’s I’ll be passing on to you.
• To Prepare
A spirit worker's body and spirit must always be clear, attentive and sensible. To prepare you must do whatever rituals pertain to your practice, that prepare you emotionally, psychologically and spiritually to deal and work with spirits.
This might include meditation, trance work, cleansing rituals and so on - this takes off the layer of mundane impressions that could marr your interpretation and leave you like a clean slate through which the Spirit’s voice can be clearly understood.
Your working space should also be clean on any influencing energies, organized and quiet enough (or loud enough depending on your vertent) for you to focus solely on the presence you’ll be working with.
I particularly find that asking for permission and guidance from my guides always makes this preparation process easier, as that is their realm and their ponctuations, advice and warnings are always welcome.
• Being Protected
There are three points of protection: Your Body (which is the conductor of your energy), Your Mind (which contains your Spirit - though not all beliefs follow this) and Your House (or de place you do your Spirit work).
These three should be duly protected and warded as you see fit before you start your spirit work. Methods for those vary as they can be easily found around the internet, in books and such. I wouldn’t be able to tell you which method of protection and warding you’ll prefer, which you’ll absolutely trust to work and which will be ideal to your specific target audience with spirit work but, one advice: Never share all ingredients nor steps of your protection and warding spells.
You may realize that I rarely, if ever, post spells. The answer is simple: any spell can be counteracted, especially if people know everything you used.
And trust me when I say that these protection and warding spells of your for Spirit Working are ones you wouldn’t like to be tampered with.
•••• 👁 ••••
For now that’s it, this post was very broad as I talked about general warnings and things of importance that precede the practice of Spirit Working. It’ll be a short series of posts, with only two.
The second one will be more action centered, most likely bigger with explanations of what to do in each case of spirit working. Till then, yeah?
Yes but hy seems to be hostile towards them. So if you are one, I would tread carefully and with respect.
Is it possible to be partnered/spoused to Solace
Devotionally - Yes
Romantically - No
Sexually - No
Queerplatonically - No
Platonically - Yes
Famillialy - Yes
Note - It is rare for The Doctor to spouse. Romantic, sexual, and queerplatonic spousal is not possible and any spousalry must also be cleared up by hy's only intimate partner @solacecorps.
Is it ok to say I'm godkin/a godshard of Solace and/or say I'm godspoused/godpartnered to Solace?
Solace actually prefers if people are open about it. It sparks discussion about hym, which in turn brings more patients to hy's ward.
Is Solace closed at all?
Nope. Hy is open to all.
However hy does have a soft spot towards BIPOC folkel, those that are masculine in nature, transharmed folkel, and those with medical focused kinks/fetishes/interests.
Note: You do not need to be radqueer or transid or adjacent in order to worship and/or work with The Doctor but it would be wise to be civil to those who are, even if you disagree. Remember that the gods do not have a morality compass the same way we do and to not place your human moral compass on this deity.
I may get hate for this but I want to know, how godspousing is not hubris? Where is the thin line?
Like you are telling me you saying you are dating a deity is not hubris? Is a humble thing that is totally normal for a mortal?
Or is it weird coping mechanism and you are claiming that most married deities would choose you while they have a deity spouse??
I mean it does depend whether it is normal or not. But like seriously?? Turning sexualising Lucifer, Loki and, with all respect, who knows who else, into a quirky trend? Please.
Loki and Lucifer sexualize themselves. I have been practicing with Lucifer and the goetic demons for many years now, and for about a year and a half with Loki. Their energy is inherently sexual and seductive. The very first time that I (knowingly) made contact with Loki was on the astral, and guess what happened? And he initiated it!
I would highly suggest that you read up on godspousing, especially where Loki is concerned. It doesn't always have physical intimacy, and you can be involved with a deity in an intimate relationship without such commitment! If anything, this site discourages such heavy commitment.
I also don't like that tone of snide ableism that runs through this post, but that's a matter for a different discussion.
Godspousing itself is not hubris. Hubris is "a way of talking or behaving that is too proud.
Because of the reception folks get, a lot of godspouses (as well as those spoused and/or romantically/sexually/otherwise involved with spirits) will not talk about their experiences, or be extremely reluctant to do so.
A human involved with a God or spirit, or several, means that they are in some kind of relationship with that God, Gods, spirit, and/or spirits, and says nothing about the worth, worthiness, holiness, goodness, or other qualities of being of anyone else.
If they were claiming it allows them to speak for the God in every circumstance, or because they are in this relationship that no one else is worthy? Yes, that would be a problem and hubristic. The majority of godspouses are not claiming that, and it speaks rather to the conditions a lot of polytheists, animists, Pagans, and other magically and spiritually-inclined folks are coming from that these are the questions a godspouse brings up.
I don't have the time or energy to go into this in depth again, so in brief:
I understand that in a lot of cultures, marriage is put on a pedestal as The Most Important relationship, and thus being chosen as one other person's spouse is elevated above other types of relationships, so I get why people think it's hubristic to say "yeah this god thinks I'm all that," but it is a mistake in many ways to treat spirit/human relationships the same way (it is also a big problem to treat human/human spousal/romantic/sexual relationships as the be-all, end-all, ultimate goal, but I digress).
We use the terms "spouse" and "marriage" to describe these relationships because this is the best terminology we have, but even when a deity/mortal spousal relationship has a lot in common with a human/human spousal relationship, it is fundamentally different. It definitely doesn't mean the human being is superior to any other person who also has something to do with that deity, or that we all think we are on the same level as a god.
Anyway, some further reading. Do check out the top link in particular, as well as the links to historical sources.

I understand that this may tickle a few feathers. So please, whatever you do, do not bring your negative commentary into my comments, reblogs, or askbox. Don't screenshot and then post it on your page to talk about how I angered you or how you got the ick and if you do it anyways, at least do me the favor of censoring my name. Anyways- let's get started.
Traditionally you start with the sign of the cross but I replaced this by doing the triple Celtic knot. I tap between my eyes, then swoop my hand to my left shoulder, then curve it to my right shoulder, then swoop it back up to my third eye.
Petition Prayer
This is where you put your own personal prayer, for me, I usually pray to The Morrigan. If you don't know what to say, try this short prayer out for size.
I stand at the threshold of the sacred. May the gods and spirits walk with me.
Apostles Creed → Morrigans Creed
I stand at the threshold between worlds,
In the presence of the Great Queen,
She who is many and one, shadow and storm
I honor the The Morrigan,
Shaper of fate, chooser of the slain,
Guardian of sovereignty and truth
In life, in death, in all transformation,
I walk with open eyes and an unyielding heart
May I know myself fully,
Stand firmly in my power,
And never turn from the path laid before me
Our Father → Great Morrigan
Great Morrigan, Queen of Phantoms and Fury,
Sovereign of battle, fate, and becoming,
Your will moves like storm across the land,
Your voice calls through crow and wind
Let your sovereignty awaken within me,
That I may stand unbroken and self-ruled
As your power shapes the turning of fate,
So may I walk my path with courage and truth
Guide me through shadow and into strength,
Now and at every ending
Hail Mary → Mother She-Wolf (x3)
She-Wolf, fierce mother of instinct and wild knowing,
Keeper of tooth, blood, and untamed spirit,
Awaken within me the voice that cannot be silenced
May I trust my instincts without hesitation,
Protect what is mine with unwavering strength,
And move through the world unafraid
Walk beside me in loyalty and ferocity,
Now and in every hunt of my life
Glory Be → Hail the Triple Goddess
To Badb, the crow of battle cries,
To Macha, the swift and sovereign force,
To Anu, the deep and ancient ground of power,
Honor in what has been,
Power in what is,
And becoming in what is yet to rise
May their voices guide me through every cycle of fate
O My Jesus → O Battle Crow
Battle Crow, watcher of fields where destinies are decided,
Winged herald of truth and consequence,
Strip away illusion and reveal what is real
Grant me the courage to face all outcomes,
The strength to endure what must be endured,
And the wisdom to rise from every fall transformed
May I never fear the call of change
First Mystery: The Choosing of Fate
Before battle is ever fought, the The Morrigan moves unseen among warriors, whispering prophecy and shaping destiny. She is not bound by time as mortals are—she sees the threads of life already woven. In tales, she offers warnings, challenges, or blessings, testing whether one will rise to their fate or shrink from it. To be chosen by her is not always a gift of victory, but a calling into truth: to meet one’s path fully, whether it leads to glory, transformation, or death.
(Reflect on destiny and choice. Consider where you are being called to step forward in your life. Meditate on courage in accepting your path, even when it is uncertain).
Great Mother
I stand at the threshold between worlds,

May I know myself fully,
Stand firmly in my power,
And never turn from the path laid before me
Hail, Holy Queen → Hail, Phantom Queen
Phantom Queen, veiled in mist and shadow,
Ruler of the unseen and the in-between,
You who walk between life and death with ease,
Hold me steady at every threshold
When I am lost in uncertainty, be my guide.
When I stand at endings, be my strength
May I trust the unseen path
And honor the mystery of becoming
Mother She-Wolf (x10)
She-Wolf, fierce mother of instinct and wild knowing,
Keeper of tooth, blood, and untamed spirit,
Awaken within me the voice that cannot be silenced
May I trust my instincts without hesitation,
Protect what is mine with unwavering strength,
And move through the world unafraid
Walk beside me in loyalty and ferocity,

May I never fear the call of change
Second Mystery: The She-Wolf’s Awakening
As She-Wolf, the The Morrigan embodies raw instinct, protection, and the unbreakable bond between self and survival. This is not the softened wild - it is the sharp-toothed knowing that lives beneath thought. In this form, she teaches that instinct is sacred, that boundaries must be defended, and that power is not given but claimed. The She-Wolf does not ask permission to exist - she is, fully and unapologetically.
(Reflect on instinct and inner truth. Consider where you may be ignoring your own knowing. Meditate on boundaries, self-trust, and reclaiming your power).
Great Mother
Great Morrigan, Queen of Phantoms and Fury,
Sovereign of battle, fate, and becoming,
Your will moves like storm across the land,
Your voice calls through crow and wind
Let your sovereignty awaken within me,
That I may stand unbroken and self-ruled
As your power shapes the turning of fate,
So may I walk my path with courage and truth
Guide me through shadow and into strength,

To Macha, the swift and sovereign force,
To Anu, the deep and ancient ground of power,
Honor in what has been,
Power in what is,
And becoming in what is yet to rise
May their voices guide me through every cycle of fate
O Battle Crow

Winged herald of truth and consequence,
Strip away illusion and reveal what is real
Grant me the courage to face all outcomes,
The strength to endure what must be endured,
And the wisdom to rise from every fall transformed
May I never fear the call of change
Third Mystery: The Cry of the Battle Crow
On the battlefield, the The Morrigan appears as the Battle Crow, circling above the clash of steel and will. Her cry is both omen and revelation - declaring that the moment of reckoning has arrived. Here, illusion falls away. Strength, fear, courage, and consequence stand exposed. The crow does not cause the battle - it witnesses and reveals its truth. In her presence, one must confront the reality of their actions and the weight of their choices.
(Reflect on truth and consequence. Consider where illusions in your life are being stripped away. Meditate on accountability, courage, and facing reality without denial).
Great Mother
Great Morrigan, Queen of Phantoms and Fury,
Sovereign of battle, fate, and becoming,
Your will moves like storm across the land,
Your voice calls through crow and wind
Let your sovereignty awaken within me,
That I may stand unbroken and self-ruled
As your power shapes the turning of fate,
So may I walk my path with courage and truth.
Guide me through shadow and into strength,
Now and at every ending

Winged herald of truth and consequence,
Strip away illusion and reveal what is real
Grant me the courage to face all outcomes,
The strength to endure what must be endured,
And the wisdom to rise from every fall transformed
May I never fear the call of change
Fourth Mystery: The Veil of the Phantom Queen
As Phantom Queen, the The Morrigan walks the misted spaces between worlds—the veil where endings dissolve into beginnings. She is both presence and absence, guiding souls and watching over thresholds. In this form, she teaches that not all things are meant to be fully understood, and that transformation often occurs in shadow before it is seen in light. She is the keeper of mysteries that can only be known through experience.
(Reflect on the unknown and unseen forces in your life. Consider transitions you are currently moving through. Meditate on trust, surrender, and the wisdom of the in-between).

Winged herald of truth and consequence,
Strip away illusion and reveal what is real
Grant me the courage to face all outcomes,
The strength to endure what must be endured,
And the wisdom to rise from every fall transformed
May I never fear the call of change
Fifth Mystery: The Washer at the Ford
At the edge of battle, beside flowing waters, the The Morrigan appears as the Washer at the Ford, cleansing the blood from the garments of those who are fated to die. This is one of her most haunting forms - yet also one of deep truth. She does not bring death, she acknowledges its inevitability. In this role, she teaches acceptance, reverence, and the sacredness of endings. Death is not failure - it is passage, completion, and transformation.
(Reflect on endings, release, and acceptance. Consider what in your life must be let go. Meditate on peace with cycles of death and rebirth, both literal and symbolic).

Archangel Michael Prayer → Washer at the Ford
Washer at the Ford, witness of fate’s final moments,
Cleanser of the blood-stained garments of warriors,
Teach me to accept what cannot be undone
Grant me peace in the face of endings,
Clarity in the presence of loss,
And reverence for the cycles of life and death
May I meet every ending with open eyes
And an unafraid heart
Traditionally you finish with the sign of the cross but I do the Celtic knot that I mentioned at the beginning of this post.
If you're giving offerings, my advice is to give them before you start the prayer or during the petition part.
If you're doing divination, I'd advise doing it during the closing prayer if it's a very short divination or right after the prayer if it's more longer.
If you’ve been arguing with a friend of family member and want to make amends, prepare them this tea and follow the instructions after your teatime to ensure that the quarreling will stop.
You will need:
Green tea
Honey
Lemon, cut into slices
A blue cloth or dishrag
For the Spell:
Brew your tea with intent, visualize your friend being comforted by the tea and imagine the two of you talking and making up.
As you stir in the honey, visualize your friend being sweetened and delighted by the honey. Imagine them smiling and laughing with you.
Now, cut a lemon in half. One part represents you, the other part represents your friend. (Cut 2 slices from the lemon too, one for your own tea and one for your friend’s tea.)
Spread a little bit of honey on the half of the lemon representing you, then put them lemon back together so that the honey is sandwiched between the two halves. Then say, “What was sour is now sweet, what was broken is now joined, and what was damaged is now repaired. Blessed be.”
Wrap the lemon in a blue cloth and set I aside. Drop one of the slices you cut earlier into your tea and the other one into your friends tea.
Serve your tea to your friend, talk things over with them and let them know how badly you want your quarrel to end and how much you care about them.
After tea, bury the lemon in the blue cloth near your front door.
This post is to introduce a deity I have recently contacted. I'm considering him a conpatheon deity because he isn't documented in any beliefs or religions to my knowledge. I do not believe I created him, I "discovered" him, for he existed long before I have. Everyone is welcome to work with this deity! If you plan on working with him or reaching out PLEASE message me! I would love to hear your experiences!
I'll be honest and say I tried to find a different name for him. I asked if he had other names, and if Isaac was an accurate name. So far the only name I've ever gotten was Isaac. I felt ashamed of this, because I felt that the name was too human. It didn't seem like the name of a deity, and that discouraged me. I would constantly call him "IS" to others in fear that saying his full name would make them not belive in him or me, or think I was talking about a person.
But the name meaning is "he who will laugh". To me this points out two things, one for each of his two masks (explained more in domain section). The first is pure laughter. The way it is worded: he who WILL laugh; to me highlights how he can help people grow past their trauma. It's not letting thing suppress you, and coming to a point where you can laugh in the face of things that have harmed you.
It also fits with his more manic and violent side. As I often view him as cannibalistic (you can interpret this as consuming the energy of others as well, not just flesh). The laughter reminds me of a mad man. And I've done lots of research on cannibalism, and sometimes humans can get a disease from eating flesh, which causes random bouts of uncontrollable laughter.
So unlike other dieites I've seen talked about, Isaac does not have a pantheon. I've always seen him alone, and with divination I've always gotten the same response that he doesn't have a pantheon. I believe this was just the way it always was for him. I don't think he needs a pantheon. He is still a deity, even if he isn't part of a group.
*entities can look different to different people, this is just how I see him*
To me Isaac is pale with light blue eyes, like a frozen pond. His skin is slightly translucent to where you can see some viens, and it has a pearly shine. His stature is thin, you can see his collarbone as wells as hints of his ribs. His figure is almost womanly with his smooth shoulders, thin waist, and slender hands. But he also has a strong jawline and Addams apple. His hair is white/grey in color and is slightly longer than medium length around eye level to a third of the way to his shoulders. His hair is somewhat wild, think like a wolf cut type of look. I often see him with bruises, cuts, bite marks, or dried blood on him. His clothing is usually flowy light clothing you almost don't see or notice.
"My domain... is not the happiest domain. Since the beginning of humanity pain had existed, and I was born from it. I am pain. Everyone has experienced me some time during their life.
Life begins with the pain of childbirth and ends with the pain of death. I am there in those moments. Hidden, unnamed, but there.
I wish to help those who have too much pain. I want to ease their suffering. But at the same time I desire to punish those who harm, who abuse, who take advantage of others. Humans can be such cruel creatures, and their cruelty and suffering is what created me."
- Said by Isaac during a mediation with him. It might not be word for word but I tried to get it as close as possible.
"I am the god of the victims. I am the god for the victims."
He is here for the hurt and abused, whether you are a victim to yourself, to others, or to society. However it's important to remember that he also suffers from these domains, therefore he is the abused and the abuser. He understands pain, but he also understands violence.
"(laughter) I will show them true pain."
He has two moods/masks, the victim and the violent. He understands self destructive tendencies. So while he is perfect for those who suffer from being a victim to something, he is also good for people who have patterns of violence, have abused people, or are toxic. In this way he would be able to try and help them overcome these downfalls.
"Humans can be so... deliciously fragile."
I do not think his "darker" more violent mask is cruel. I belive it to be more protective and vengeful than pure insanity. I believe he is pain, and therfore is constantly under the influence of it. Because of that I believe it can become unbearable, which creates the desire for him to lash out to humans who inflict pain upon others. Isaac is both the giver and reciever of pain; blessed and cursed.
"Hot abrasive wind. Immediately in my face. Immediately. Hot hot hot. I grit my teeth. Wrapping around. Mm. Old. Yes. Yes yes yes. IS (Isaac) is like hot sandstone on a sweltering summer day in the middle east."
His energy is calming but wildy...very wild indeed, it's calm but can go wild and "dangerous" Quickly, it's very light like Air, Very Airy, Very calming and Collected like a small wind Breeze , His voice is soft , Gritty? but had athourity to it , Speaks calmly and slowly.....his attitude? Feelings?.....Calm, Collected, Analyzing, Thoughtful.
We were in a desert type area. Blood red sand stretching for miles, with large bones of all different species laid around and half buried within the red sand. It was strangley relaxing to be there. The sky was a night sky, with distant red galaxies and stars. Dispite the night sky it wasn't too dark. This is where he told me about his origins. The way he picked up sand and would blow it away into the air when talking about it almost made it seem the red sand was a symbol for pain.
His demeanor was calm, but like the calm before the storm. You could tell he was controlling himself. I was mainly interacting with his victim aspect, but you could see the other mask just behind his eyes. Like a wild animal hiding within. The way he interacted with things was super careful, like he was afried he was going to ruin or hurt whatever he touched. It was like the wall between the two masks was only a thin piece of glass, easily shattered or broken. His other side would pop through and he would suppress it (maybe to not scare me off). But he was overall extremely sweet and kind, the biggest thing was how gentle he was, how fragile he treated everything.

Light the candle and incense. Arrange the crystals before the flame. Place the herb(s) in a circle around the candle and crystals (and incense if you've decided to use it).
Take a steady breath and speak:
By the glow of gentle courage,
By the heart that chooses light,
I call the strength of Emily,
Soft yet shining, calm yet bright.
Let kindness stand unbroken,
Let fear dissolve like night,
May love become my armor,
And hope my guiding sight.

So this spell is meant to reflect Emily’s energy. Shes compassionate, steady, emotionally strong (even if she does have her crybaby moments), and quietly heroic. And I think this spell is perfect for moments when bravery means staying kind. 🌸✨🩷
This is the first time I've crafted a spell so I'm sorry if it's not the best. 🥲🫠🍀
They spread blatant misinformation about other practices.
So first off they say that godspousalry is allowed if its within your religion, only to say it doesn't exist in Hellenic Polytheism.
This in itself is misinformation. We have several examples of the Hellenic gods taking on human lovers. Psyche was a human princess, married to the god Eros before she was transformed into a goddess. Tithonus was a lover of the goddess Eos. Apollo has a plethora of completely mortal lovers. Heracles and Perseus both have a human mother whom Zeus loved. The iconic Sappho has been seen as a lover of Aphrodite as well. Saying it doesn't exist completely erases so much mythology. Yes you shouldn't be a myth literalist, but that doesn't mean ERASE myths or simply don't acknowledge the ones that don't align with your personal ideology and UPG. MYTHS ARE STILL IMPORTANT! The concept of godspousing also exists in many other religions such as - Hinduism, Kemeticism, Druidry, Christianity, and even Islam.
Now let's talk about their apparent dislike of pop culture paganism. The definition they have is that pop culture paganism worships fictional characters AND real life celebrities and influencers as if they're gods. THIS IS MISINFORMATION!
When I told them that this was misinformation, this (bottom left photo) was their response. Virgil from Sanders Sides IS A FICTIONAL CHARACTER! TechnoBlade IS A FICTIONAL CHARACTER! The reason why they "feel real" is because their creators meant for them to be immersive characters to the point that it felt like they were here with us as real people but they are STILL fictional characters.
Also the incorrect definition of pop culture paganism is that of the VERY FEW. To take a definition that VERY FEW use and to use it as the main definition when others are telling you that this is misinformation isn't a very good look.
It would be like if I took the few people who define Islam as a violent religion that calls for the deaths of non-believers (extremely not true) and used that as the main definition despite other Muslims telling me that it's not true and the majority of Muslims don't believe that, I would be in the wrong. I would be seen as Islamophobic. But for some reason it's okay to do that for pop culture paganism? Hypocrisy is not a good look and it speaks ill of you as a pagan and a moderator.
Let's also not forget that worshipping human beings isn't new. Many Chinese gods were once human. Hero worship (worshipping either irl or mythological heros) is also a thing that has been around for centuries that people see as valid. Saint worship (worshipping saints, that are human beings, might I add) is also an ancient practice that is seen as valid.
So even if people were worshipping real human beings (if they're alive, I can agree with the concern, parasocial relationships can be dangerous if you don't reign yourself in) then who cares? Obviously if somebody was worshipping, say, Jeffrey Dahmer or Bill Clinton for example, please judge away because they were genuinely horrible people. Not even meh or good people that maybe made a few horrible choices, just genuinely horrible people. But what about Michael Jackson? Freddy Mercury? Princess Diana? Marilyn Monroe? Marie Laveau? Loved individuals that did good things in their life and often fought injustice and oppression. Is that now invalid? Spirit worship isn't new, and spirit veneration isn't new either and CAN look very similar to spirit worship.
Overall, I had high hopes for this server because I'm a role hoarder and they had many detailed roles. But I was sadly disappointed to find out that they don't care about misinformation and ancient historical practices. /npa
2 out of 5 stars. Shows promise but sadly disappointing in some of their beliefs.
Obligatory Note - I do not condone bullying or harassing the moderation team. Please leave them alone, this post is not an invitation to be a dick, it's a warning to avoid a server that promotes erasure of important mythology and ancient practices as well as misinformation. I want people to protect their peace not get angry and then go out of their way to harass these people.
it is interesting to me how "seeing" and "hearing" god is very normal in christianity and several other monotheistic religions. but as soon as you're a pagan, it's delusions and psychosis.

Pantothenic deities are deities that are from a specific religion; the word pantheon means a group of important individuals. For instance, the Greek gods, titans, primordial beings, etc are all part of the Greek Pantheon.
What is a Pop-Culture deity?
Pop-Culture deities are any characters that come from media, such as tv shows, movies, games, books etc. A lot of anime characters are very popular pop-culture deities. Some people also refer to them as pop-culture entities, or PCDs/PCEs for short.
Are Pop-Culture deities real deities?
The answer to this gets a little complex and there’s a lot of debate surrounding this question. This answer is also just my own opinion based on my experiences and perception! Pop-Culture deities are, at the very core of their being, entities that have been created by humanity. Anime characters, book characters, video game characters are all examples of Pop-Culture deities. Unlike pantheonic deities, people's own beliefs in them or honoring them in various ways (yes, even people who do not believe in witchcraft) has brought them to life; fed them energy that has made them into real, sentient beings. These can be considered egregores or thoughtforms. Unlike pantheonic deities, egregores need a supply of energy they can feed on in order to continue existing. Oftentimes, they are able to gain energy from people simply enjoying the sources they are from. However, from my experience, there are times where these entities will become strong enough or popular enough that they transform into actual deities; they are no longer a simple egregore but a completely independent being that doesn’t need a supply of energy in order to exist, they can exist all on their own. I have found that a lot of Pop-Culture deities that I have encountered, even if their source is not that old, have incredibly ancient energies just like pantheonic deities, and they do not need outside energies in order to survive. Basically, they have surpassed being simple thoughtforms and egregores and have transcended into actual deities. I have asked my deities about this before, and they have told me that once the egregore gains enough energy they can essentially transform into an independent being; my team has told me that deities can also help make this happen.
What are thoughtforms/egregores?
As stated above, they are creations of human design; they are created from energies for specific purposes. A lot of egregores are made to be servitors or guardians for the person and their space. Not all egregores are sentient or conscious either, some people chose to make them without consciousness or sentience.
How do pantheonic deities get along with Pop-Culture deities?
From my experience and from what I’ve heard from others who work with both, they get along pretty well. There are some PCD’s that may have a reputation of being more chaotic, and this may make other deities in a practitioner's life more cautious, but this can happen for pantheonic deities as well.
Do I need to specify that I work with the PCD version of a pantheonic deity?
In general, that’s up to you and your preferences. I know some communities and people can be quite judgmental about working with PCD’s. For more specific interactions, like if you are getting a tarot reading from someone, it is best to specify that you are wanting a reading from a PCD so that they are calling on the correct being.
Does the astral get crowded with how many deities exist?
The astral is a very vast place, and in my belief, it probably does not get crowded in general. However, when it comes to someone's personal space (the space where their team would exist around them in the astral) it might get crowded in the sense that there could be a lot of different energies mixing at one time. This is why when more generalized readings are done for you, your entire spirit team may be present to offer insight and advice.
Do PCD’s with ‘dead’ fandoms die? Can they come back to life if the fandom comes back?
This ties into my personal beliefs about PCD’s and their separation from being an egregore vs an independent entity. All in all, it depends. If the PCD is able to break away and become more than just an egregore, then yes they would exist even if their fandom dies. To answer the second part of the question, if an entity who was an egregore’s fandom came back, then I do believe that entity would be re-created. From what I’ve been told, if the entity is being entirely re-created, they will essentially be a new egregore, rather than the one that existed before.
How do I know if a PCD for a certain media exists yet?
Basically, if a media exists, that PCD would exist as well, if you want them to. Again this ties into the concept that egregores can become more when given the chance. If you create an Original Character (OC) and make them into an egregore, then they do exist. If you continue to feed them energies, and allow them to experience the world around you independently of you, then they can change and transform and become something more than just an egregore. Belief is a huge factor in this as well, if you believe that they should exist, then they will!
Do the source events equal what actually happened to them?
This answer can be very complicated, but from my experience it's similar to how pantheonic deities are. Their source material can affect and influence them, and it is, and isn't, things that actually happened to them. This also goes into personal beliefs again, as some people do believe that what happened in the source has actually happened to the deity, while others see it more as just a story/myth.
Do they follow the same rules as pantheonic deities in terms of reaching out, spousal, etc?
Yes, for the most part they will follow the same rules. You can reach out to a PCD, or they might reach out to you. The same goes for spousal, sometimes they may ask, but the mortal party can also ask if there is interest there.
Are they weaker than pantheonic deities?
Egregores themselves are generally weaker than pantheonic deities, however again this ties into the belief that some PCD’s are more than just egregores. PCDs who are more than egregores do tend to be just as powerful as pantheonic deities. In the end though, if working with a PCD is what you’re drawn to do, regardless of if they are still an egregore or not, if they are benefitting you and your practice, then go for it. Power is a lot more complicated than ‘this deity is weaker than that deity’ when it comes to magic.
Do they have the same likes/dislikes as in their source?
The answer to this is generally yes; again similar to pantheonic deities and specific offerings/preferences listed in their myths that they may like/dislike, a PCD will probably have similar preferences in real life as well. However, this is also about personal experience too, and this goes for both pantheonic and pop-culture deities. If the practitioner dislikes something, the deity may either not ask for that offering, or tell them they don’t want that offering from them (to avoid making the practitioner buy something they’re not going to also enjoy). On the opposite end of that, the deity may encourage the practitioner to buy that item to encourage them to branch out (for instance, Poseidon has been slowly but surely making me like coconut, something that up until I started working with him, I hated). This can depend a lot on the practitioner's own boundaries with their deities as well.
What if I don’t believe in PCDs?
It's perfectly ok if you don’t believe or want to work with PCDs; however everyone's practice is valid, and me personally, I do try to respect everyone's practices even if I don’t hold the same beliefs as they do.
Do the creators of PCD’s and their viewpoints influence the PCD?
The answer to this question is yes, and no. Especially for PCD’s whose source isn’t finished (like an ongoing book series) this can change and influence the PCD a bit as a real being as the book character evolves in real time. However, the creators' more personal viewpoints (like their religious background for instance) will not hold that much influence on the actual being.
What if someone I know works with a PCD that I dislike?
Just like any other deity, you don’t need to interact with them if you dislike them; however I would say that PCDs are different than they are in their sources; they may not behave exactly the same.
What about PCD’s that are evil? Are they really evil in real life?
As stated above, PCDs are not like they are in their sources. For instance, I work with Blitzo from Helluva Boss, and while his general personality is the same as it is in Helluva, he himself is different. He has more understanding and knowledge of the universe as a PCD, and while in the show, he struggles a lot with issues such as communication. Working with him, he’s helped me learn how to communicate better. The same goes for ‘evil’ PCDs; while they might be evil in the show, as a PCD they will not necessarily be that way. They may become more like trickster deities, however they are not generally going to be harmful.
As usual, I would like to thank @astralscraft for helping me with writing this. They always give me so many wonderful questions to answer, and they always help me make sure everything is as clear as it can be when I’m writing these. Thank you so much for helping!

I'm making this post for the #PsychicLove chat challenge! I'm doing this for the godspousing/agapea chat. I'm also going to dive into the basics of the relationship (as it is now) and how it started.
I was nervous about making this post because I know that there are lots of people who don't belive in godspousing or agapeam. I was one of them. So I felt like a fool to have publicly said I don't belive in that, and now to be here saying that I am in that type of relationship. I've learned a lot about the practice and have gained confidence and knowledge about it, which is why I'm comfortable talking about the relationship now.
Another thing that held me back was the fact that... well, the deity is a conpantheon deity. I worried (and still worry) that people will just think that I'm crazy and making all of this up. Because he is an undocumented deity it could sooo easily be seen as an imaginary boyfriend or something. It made me nervous because I didn't want that to scare off other people from working with him as well, for I think he would be an amazing deity to work with (emotions set aside).
So I just want to let you all know that yes, I see how this might seem too far fetched or crazy. But I've done and gotten so many readings about him, that I know he's a real deity. I cleanse and protect my space often. I didn't just jump right in and accept all of this, I constantly ask questions and double check. I don't want to be a fool. And I hope that even if you don't agree with all of this, that you could still trust, acknowledge, and treat me the same way as before. Of course I'm open to questions about it, so don't shy away from asking me stuff!
If you want to learn more about Isaac, the deity of pain, I made a post about him here.

CLAIRS AND
COMMUNICATIONS
╰━ ⋅𖥔⋅ ━━✶━━ ⋅𖥔⋅ ━╯
I know I don't have as many clairs as other people, but I'll try my best to describe how Isaac and I communicate!
⋅𖥔⋅Clairaudience⋅𖥔⋅
This is a big way we communicate! This is a main clair I use for entity work in general. I'm not lucky enough to hear them physically (yet, I hope I can trian to develop my clair to be that strong) but I "hear" then through thoughts they put into my mind. I'll hear them talk in my head, usually I can hear full on sentences, but sometimes I'll get the same sentence or word repeated.
For Isaac specifically he will often speak softly or gently (for I mainly communicate with his calmer self). His voice has emotion to it. It's hard to explain it since I'm I'm audibly hearing it, but it's something you can sense. He usually speaks with a simpler diction, even when using metaphors (he won't do that too often but sometimes he does). Often he will be reassuring me or comforting me when he speaks, or sometimes even just letting me know he's there.
⋅𖥔⋅Visualization⋅𖥔⋅
This is another major way I communicate with entities. I don't know if this is a clair per say, but irs something I use. I'll get into a meditative state and focus on whoever it is I want to communicate with (this is after inviting them to my space). Its simular to how I read other people's energy. Sometimes I will get flashes of images. But when it comes to meditating with entities I'm usually visualizing surroundings and scenery, with the entity I want to contact either already there or arriving shortly. Then we usually will have a conversation.
So while I don't need visualization to use my clairaudience, I like to use it whenever I can. It makes me feel more grounded in the conversation, and the scenery will usually reflect whichever entity I'm talking to (for example, the red desert with bones I found myself in while talking to Isaac). I'm not always in the same place, usually I am in a different place, or a place familiar to one I've bene before but not the exact same.
I'll also visualize the entities I'm talking to. Isaac is the only entity so far that has shown me his face. Now I don't see it all the time, but I'll get glimpses and I have seen it. With other entities they usually hide their face, or I find it hard to look up at their face even though I want to. This is why I usually have a clearer image of their body and/or clothing than their fave or hair. But with Isaac he has shown me mroe of his appearance than others have, which is nice, since his facial expressions help with our communication.
⋅𖥔⋅Clairsentience/Clairtangency⋅𖥔⋅
Okay so I hope these are the clairs I'm talking about. So I'm trying to talk about how I can feel is an entity is nearby. Like an electrical buzz on my skin. I don't use this too often even though I ask for it to be strengthened (I also ask for entities to help me strengthen/unlock all of my clairs or abilities).
With Isaac I'll feel the buzz on my skin when he is nearby. Or more specifically if he is "touching" me. For example sometimes when he touches my face during a mediation, I'll feel an energy buzz on my face. He's used this to let me know he's there. While I try to sleep I have felt him nearby or holding me to help me fall asleep. It's just a gentle touch to let me know he's around and that he cares.

PAST LIFE
CONNECTIONS
╰━ ⋅𖥔⋅ ━━✶━━ ⋅𖥔⋅ ━╯
I don't know too much about my past lives yet, although I want to learn more. However I have gotten multiple readings from multiple people that I've known Isaac in past lives. In fact I've had multiple readings saying that I had a romantic relationship with Isaac in my past lives, which is why he has reached out to me, and why he wants to have that same relationship again.
I do know that my past lives with Isaac were not happy go lucky. I do know that he was the cause of at least one of them to end. I know that I was directly, and that he considers me a "victim" of his in a past life. I've had multiple readings down that this deity has the ability to walk the earth as a human. (This isn't too far fetched actually, for there are many tales and stories of deities walking the earth among us humans.) I have bene told that I have known him as both a deity and a person in my past lives, so I expect the life where I was his "victim" was most likely one where he was physically with me as a person.
This past life connection has brought us closer, for I feel like I already know him. But I also see how he is cautious around me. My guess is that he is worried he will harm me in some way, probably linked to something bad that happened in a past life. This is why I believe I see his calm side FAR more often than his aggressive side. And why I think that he purposefully avoids me when he is feeling more aggressive, etc.
I really really want to learn more about my past lives, but for now this is all I know!

PERSONAL JOURNEY
╰━ ⋅𖥔⋅ ━━✶━━ ⋅𖥔⋅ ━╯
And here I will try my best to map out my journey/relationship with Isaac. I've experienced Isaac long before I started my spiritual journey, ping before I knew anything about clairs, deities, or anything of the sort.
⋅𖥔⋅Discovery Through Art⋅𖥔⋅
Art as always been part of my life. When I was a child I loved it. Then a had a few years where I seemed to forget about art. But I rediscovered my passion of art with fevor! About I want to say that was about 6-8 years ago. When drawing one day, I drew somebody. It was random, out of a bunch of scribbles if im honest, but it caught my eye. After that, I couldn't stop drawing him. That was 4-5 years ago.
As my art grew, he grew. And my, well, haha basically my obsession with him grew. At that time I considered him a "character" of a story. He still is in that story as a character, but now I know that he is something more. Something real. But at that time I didn't know anything, I was still a Christian, and didn't have much of a spiritual path other than begging God to reveal himself to me.
He was my muse. Whenever I couldn't think of something to draw, I'd draw him. Even when I could make up ideas, those ideas usually were of me drawing him. I'd often joke that I knew an artblcok was bad if I couldn't draw Isaac. And well, that was true. I experience really bad artblocks, but a major sign of artblock for me is if I can't draw Isaac. I have many many drawings and doodles of Isaac in sketchbooks, school papers, heck you'd even see him on the papers for my SOLs or AP tests. Many of which I dont have anymore, or were tossed out. On my phone I have about 60 drawings of him, in his own dedicated photo album. That doesn't include things I've made of him on picrew or my pintrest board on him.
I asked him once what he thought about my art (this was recent of course) through shufflemancy. I got the song Voyeur Girl by Stephen. It was honestly the perfect song to describe it, if you read the lyrics.
⋅𖥔⋅Feeling of Realness⋅𖥔⋅
Anyways, as I was drawing Isaac, he started feeling different than the rest of my characters. He felt... alive. Real. My heart, my gut, my spirit just felt it. He felt separate from myself.
I felt a connection with him I just don't feel with anything or anyone else. Not my proudest moments, but I had multiple mental breakdowns because of how real he felt to me. It didn't make sense for him to feel so real. I'd sob, wishing with my entire being for him to just be there. I felt in love, and I hated myself for it. I felt pathetic and gross. I'd tell myself how stupid I was for loving something that I made up. A character. A drawing.
But at this time I've already experienced him many many times through my clairs. I've felt him help me sleep. I've heard him speak to me. I just told myself maybe in another reality, another life, maybe he was real then. It hurt so much back then, sobbing. I could so painfully feel the connection between us, and I thought it was all in my head.
I was like this for years. I knew something was different about him, I knew I felt something, I just didn't know what.
⋅𖥔⋅Questioning Reality⋅𖥔⋅
About 9 months ago, I started my spiritual journey. Or at least, I joined this Amino 9 months ago. I'd say I really started 1-2 months before that, but once I joined this Amino I really got serious.
Now why do I say this? One, to put into perspective how long I've experienced Isaac, and two to show how Isaac effected my path.
Because I've been communicating and experiencing Isaac for years, I was confused once I started talking with other entities. I was confused because it was jsur like how I'd talk to Isaac, or feel Isaac. The only thing I didn't do with Isaac before my spiritual journey was the visualization technique.
The fact that I was using my clairs before even knowing about clairs were, was something I had to overcome. Because I kept thinking I was just making everything up, or all of this was happening in my imagination.
Because I labeled everything I experienced with Isaac as "fake", a form of self soothing, or my imagination; I was thrown through a loop when other entities would communicate with me in the same ways.
After I finally accepted that I was truly using my clairs, and they were communicating with me, I continued learning. For some reason though, it didn't click that if my communication with them was real, that meant my communication with Isaac was real.
⋅𖥔⋅Researching Conpantheons⋅𖥔⋅
And then one day, I felt a pull to branch out and learn about something new. I scrolled through the Amino chatroom and the Conpatheon chatroom caught my eye. As I learned about conpatheons and how they worked, Isaac came to mind. I told myself it was probably just wishful thinking, but I did a reading anyways. I got a positive response. Shocked I asked at least three other people the same question: If Isaac was a deity. Everyone said yes. I asked other related questions, if he was an entity, if he was real, etc. All yes.
This is when I got tons of readings and did tons of readings myself to get information about the deity Isaac. (Once again my post on him is here.) And this is when I got reading that pointed to past life connections with him.
⋅𖥔⋅Finding Out The Truth⋅𖥔⋅
And well, that's when it all clicked for me. The communication with Isaac for all those years. Him being a deity. Us knowing eachother in past lives. Us having romantic relationships in those lives, and his desire to rekindle that. How real he felt, and how strong my pull towards him was. It also validated my clairs, helping me understand that I'm not jsut talking to myself in my head, or seeing things.
╭━ ⋅𖥔⋅ ━━✶━━ ⋅𖥔⋅ ━╮
CONCLUSION
╰━ ⋅𖥔⋅ ━━✶━━ ⋅𖥔⋅ ━╯
As of right now, my relationship with Isaac is not official. I know my feelings and I know his feelings. But I want to learn way more about him, myself, and our past connections. I also want to be able to AP or EP a lot more controlled and meet him there. Once I get more comfortable with those aspects and figure out the boundaries of that; I'll consider an official relationship. But for now I'm taking my time. Like I said earlier, I'm not jumping into this: I'm making sure it is safe, and logical. But I should stop rambling!
