If you want to donate, donate directly to the organization you do know. Anything you see on tumblr is 99% scam. If anybody comes directly to your inbox asking you for your money, they are scammers.

No, you’re not heartless by reporting them. They’re the scums by taking advantage of people’s lives and kindness. (Notice how all of their messages are always the same copy paste type. And if one stops, all of them stop. If one starts, all of them start. They’re a scam ring preying on people’s kindness)

1. Anybody can say that. “I have been vetted by this organization” there, I said it. Does this suddenly mean my family and I are actually trying to survive and in need of your money? No

2. People who are actual victims and are struggling to survive don’t spend this much time on Tumblr, of all sites, going directly to your inbox begging for your money 50 times a day.

3. The organization that vetted these scam bots are also a part of the scam ring.

They’re getting away this long because anybody who questions their authenticity gets called a genocide supporter. Sorry but you are helping these scammers scam money from people by using people’s kindness, and the lives of real victims who are in need of help, for their own personal gain

If anyone on the internet asks you for your money, especially if they ask you directly through your DMs or inbox, always assume they are scammers.

First meeting.

im re-watching since i binged the whole series in two nights the first time and im so entertained by the port townsend "office" setup.

edwin is sitting very properly behind their 'desk', which is an ironing board. from an earlier shot he seems to have arranged the items on the desk pretty carefully but as far as i can tell they're just random knickknacks. he's not even taking notes.

crystal is the one taking notes, and sitting normally in a real chair.

niko starts out sitting somewhat normally on the end table in the back, but during some of the smash cuts she's sort of... perching.

my favorite bit is that since it's an ironing board, charles can't do his normal half-sit on the side of the desk thing (or could he? the logistics of ghost weight escape me). so they've gotten a step stool and put it in the exact position where it will look like he's sitting the way he does in the actual office.
