Sootâs senses have been a bit screwed thanks to his time in limbo sitting near a loud train. Sure, heâs not as bad as Blue, far from it actually, but thereâs enough where it is noticeable.
Sometimes Soot will walk around feeling different things in the house so he can make sure he remembers what their texture is like and that he actually still feels them. If Ozy notices him doing this, heâll often help find unusual textures, or just keep him company.
Sometimes Soot will say, âHEY WATCH THISâ before downing a handful of salt. Itâs a 50/50 chance on whether or not heâll choke on it, or if heâll even taste it. If its the latter, General will often make him something to wash away the horrid flavor, and if its the former heâll preform the heimlich maneuver on him.
Sometimes Sootâs tinnitus gets incredibly loud, and at times like that, Teufor wonât leave his side, whispering him sweet nothings whenever it will help and holding him close either way, sometimes even just sitting in his lap.
Blue: Oh this is hard >:T. I'll do my best! But chat I do have to tell you that this is just based off of what I've experienced! I can't exactly cuddle with everyone!
And I'm sure when... like when Johnathan cuddles with Milo it's different from when I have! I've also not exactly cuddled everyone, but if I haven't I'll tell you! (I'll make it a list so it's easier to read :P)
Casper - 69/10 (hehe) He's just so huggable! He fits in my arms perfectly and he is happy to hug and cuddle whenever! We cuddle in bed and in the kitchen and in the living room and when we walk around and it's so so nice :D I love him so much. <3
General - 8/10 He's like a firm pillow! Which can be both good and bad.
Ozy - 7/10 We don't get to much, I think he's too nervous! But we've had some very good affection sessions and I think he's just got to warm up to being cuddled!
Soot - 7/10 We agreed when we first arrived to be 'cool' with each other... well, after awhile. So... not often do I get to! But it's not been bad. He's always been very nice when we do get to.
Teufor - 9/10! Teufor is very sweet!! We spend a lot of time together talking and during hang outs we've often fell asleep on each other 'cause we talked all night. He can get a little stabby... luckily I can't feel it! But it can happen.
Tiptup - 10/10!! He will curl up in your lap like a cat! But he's a raccoon... oh well! It's very cute! He lets me ruffle his hair :3
God - 3/10 >:( He's taller than me. God isn't much of a cuddly guy outside of Tiptup... and maybe Edgar or Jared if they catch him on the right day. He does give decent-ish hugs.
Edgar - 2/10 To be fair I've never cuddled him but I've hugged him. I've hugged everyone at least once. He doesn't mind it much. It's like if you pet a cat too much and they get all squirmy and scratchy if you over do it. He doesn't often return it... but he tries? Sort of... Jared sleeps on him a lot so he's got to be comfortable.
Jared - 5/10 He's shown me a lot of video games and animals and movies! He wanted to show me his whole Animal Crossing island once and it was super cool and he sat in my lap while doing it! He's perfect head resting height, but we don't talk much let alone cuddle.
Pilot - 10/10! He tells stories :D. He's told me all about what Phil and Techno used to do back before I was born. Some stuff is a little upsetting, but then he talks about all the cool places he's been along with all his pet dogs and friends he's made. He got to see a dragon, how crazy is that? He says he still has the egg but he's not shown anyone. But he tells these and lets me cuddle into his side and he is very very nice!
Walter - 1/10 We've never really cuddled but he gives a good squeezing hug.
Milo - 7/10 We cuddle whenever we do arts and crafts that don't take a lot of moving or sharp things. He lets me braid his hair.
Johnathan - 1/10 We've never really cuddled but he's super duper warm! Even I can feel it. He pats my head when we hug :)
Aeronaut - 0/10 He scares me a little bit so we've never actually cuddled, and I've only been able to hug him a few times. I'm scared it'll freak him out or- or something will happen. I wish I could! And I would in a heartbeat I just don't want to upset him.
Agent - 4/10 We've cuddled once, and hugged a more. Hugging is a bit awkward 'cause of his big 'ol helmet. There's nowhere for your head to go other than bonk the helmet, but I'd never make him take it off! He likes it so much and it makes him feel so comfortable so it can stay! I think I'm indirectly responsible for it getting vandalized though...
Ishmael - 1/10 He's not the cuddling type, but if this were a rating on hugs he's 100/10. He'll hug you and lift you and they're very warm and enveloping :D Definition of bear or... dad hug? He's very nice. They last awhile too and he knows just when to give someone a hug and for me that is all the time!
Bec - 6/10 We don't cuddle too often but we watch movies together! He really likes movies and I do too and there's so many here in this world to watch :o. I've comforted him a few times. He's a really sweet guy and he's been through a lot. He doesn't like being called kid so- so I have to remind myself not to! But he reminds me a lot of Fundy... Oh, but not to end on a sad note! He gave me the biggest hug after I made this... small statue of what he described as 'the Dome', and we spent all night talking and I remember he fell asleep on my shoulder and I had to carry him to his room. He's very sweet.

Rain poured down like tears at a mournerâs party, blanketing the streets and running cigarettes and trash down gutters. Britain was always in need of a cleaning, but General couldnât help but frown as he watched wrappers and plastics go with the dirt.
He drove the car slowly along old, rickety stone roads, cautious about not only the conditions but the food sitting comfortable in the back. Last thing any of them needed was for him to get in a car crash. Last thing Ozy needed would be to be in the passengerâs seat if that were to happen.
General had no idea why Ozy had insisted in tagging along on this errand, on coming with him to pick up dinner, but he always did seem to have trouble reading him. Maybe it was because Ozy was his future. Maybe it was just because he was a closed book. No, more than that, more than just a closed book.
Ozy was a bolted door, was an underground panic room for disasters guarded by obsidian walls, was the very center cell of a high security prison.
He was cagey.
He was an anxious wreck.
So many times already General had teased words from his lips, had soothed him, but they were still early in their relationship, anyone could tell. Often Ozy would get quiet around him, face flushed with some sort of emotion, some sort of turmoil. At those times, no matter what General said, no matter how he tried to help, Ozy wouldnât talk.
This was one of those times.
He had been quiet getting into the car, quiet as they drove through the rain, quiet when General told him that heâd be right back and gone into the store, and quiet when the engine started up again and they started to drive back home.
Silent as the grave, more hushed than a catâs step, so still that the pitter patter of rain sounded like bombs going off.
Maybe Ozy just wanted to be near him, maybe he was just bored inside, maybe he just wanted to see a little more of the city that was now technically their home.
General wished he would just tell him. He wished he was better at reading the room. Better at understanding what the future had to hold.
He turned onto their street, already scanning for an open parking spot, for a place to pull into at least decently close to the apartment. Thankfully, the spot they had been in before was still open. He wished he had the foresight to grab an umbrella earlier, so Ozy wouldnât get wet.
âSorry I canât get us closer.â General said as he turned the car off, hand moving to rub the back of his neck, a nervous tick. He could still feel where the skin there had been stretched, had been scarred. His inauguration.
Ozy said nothing, so after a moment, General simply slipped out of the car.
He buzzed with anxiety, all his nervous energy trapped under his skin, like he was a beehive, a building explosion. He wondered how it would find a way to escape him, the energy. Crying had been a common way for him to vent out his fear in the past. He didnât want to cry now.
Rain ran down the back of his neck, cold and searching. He shivered. His clothes were already hanging uncomfortably off of him, soaked. He turned his eyes to the sky, squinting and holding up a hand against the droplets as a sea of grey rolled above him. It was like a herd of sheep, like an ocean. He couldnât see where it started, much less where it ended.
It felt like ice was curling around his very being the longer he stood here, was curling under his clothes, was plucking at the hairs on his arms like fingers at a string. The sun was a forgotten memory, a well hidden one too.
There was the sound of a car door slamming, of feet sloshing through puddles, hurried, panicked maybe.
General turned quickly.
Lips and teeth clashed against his, and a sudden weight threatened to knock him to the ground, though more from the slippery sidewalk and surprise than strength.
Hands slipped under his shirt, pressing themselves to his shivering, wet skin. They were burning hot and General swore they were leaving marks as they held onto him, desperate.
His heartbeat was in his ears now and his stomach churned in excitement at the intimacy, even as his brain struggled to keep up, frozen in his skull as it was.
Ozyâs lips were far from soft, covered in little rips and tears from Soot, chapped from a profound lack of water and lip balm, but General couldnât get enough of him. He wanted to hold him forever, to pin him down against something soft, to leave kisses all over him, to tell him he loved him.
Ozyâs fingers found their way into Generalâs hair as his own hands settled on his hips. They desperately pulled the other closer, like magnets, slotting together perfectly as the rain tried to wash them away.
General thought his heart might explode from want, from a lack of air, but neither of them was willing to pull away.
It was General who finally had to though.
The air between them was hot, scorching even as General caught his breath, as he panted, as he struggled to process what just happened.
Rain ran down his scalp like a massage, contrasting against Ozyâs warm skin.
Ozy.
Ozy was cooling off now, the rain slowly getting to him too, leeching off of him. General almost pulled him closer, almost offered him his jacket as an umbrella, almost said to forget the food and run inside before they got any more wet. He looked almost frightened though, and General wasnât sure if he should be the one to speak up first, much less move.
Ozyâs lower lip trembled.
âSorry- I- I shouldnât have done that.â He mumbled, voice weak. Ozy pulled his hands away from Generalâs body, holding them awkwardly in front of himself. He didnât make any other move to put distance between them though. âShit- I shouldâve- Iâm so sorry I didnât mean to overstep- I didnât mean-â
âI love you.â General blurted, insides only squirming more as Ozy apologized.
âI love you so much. I want to wake up next to you. To hold you. To kiss you. I want you to talk to me. I want to make you happy.â
Ozy froze as the words poured out of General, his face practically glowing pink as his lips parted. No sound came out though.
âPlease just tell me how I can.â
Generalâs hands trailed themselves from Ozyâs hips to his face, cupping him gently, like he would explode into a million pieces if any pressure was applied. Ozy leaned heavily into the touch, eyes still wide in shock but lips pressing together, into a thin line. General could practically hear the gears in his mind clinking along.
They stood there for a while, 30 seconds, an hour, a minute, getting drenched, shivering in the cold. Ozy didnât pull away though, letting General hold him close, letting his hands roam his back, letting his words settle in.
âKiss me again. Please.â Ozy half mumbled, half begged, still feeling slightly warm even as the world was freezing over around them.

Uh. We ended up with a new guy as a result of the viceral rage upon Elli's upset, but he's calmed down, and we're all okay.
It's... complicated and emotional, but long story short, Elli gets attached easily and when someone fucks up that trust (unintentionally as it may be) especially on basis of something he cares about (endogenic acceptance) and he thought he had a nice space to chill and talk abt Sootbur (since its... literally part of his canon) until an unfortunate series of events led to, well, severe upset and the new guy bein pissed off on Elli's behalf.
