Sometimes I'll think back on Nights for Azalea and mourn a bit the person I was when I started it. Sometimes I think to pick it up again, revamp it, do something...but at this point in my life, I don't know if I have it in me to finish it though I know exactly how I wanted the rest of the story to go. Which, knowing the plan and ending for a WIP that you no longer have the wherewithal to continue is its own kind of shame and torture as a creative and writer.
You have the image in your mind, the most basic words to describe it, but not to fully commit to the vision you wish to create. Perhaps one day I'll get back there...
