In case you needed a reason to be sad about Kaneki today just think about the fact that when he was Haise je had no memories of his past. Which means he forgot Hide. His best friend, the guy who never gave up on him even when he turned into a ghoul, the guy who had his back no matter what, the guy who was always there for him supporting him, the guy who died just so he could see his friend one last time and tell him that he didn't hate him for being a ghoul, to reassure him that he was still the best friend he ever had. Kaneki forgot all of that while he was Haise. Just in case you needed a reason to be sad today.
