She tried to sleep, to do anything else, but instead she spent the entire flight with her stomach in knots as she tried to figure out what was next. What was she even hoping to accomplish? She couldn’t ease her mind and it made the ten hour flight feel like an eternity. She landed some time around five am, trying to get through the airport as quickly as she could. She was exhausted but far to nervous to even think of sleep as she stepped out into the crisp morning air, She grabbed a cab and gave the driver the address, tipping him heftily before hand in exchange for a quick trip. She gazed out the window , watching the sun start to lighten the sky as she tried to distract herself. As they arrived at the hotel, Riley prayed that the key Lucien had promised to leave was still there. Her stomach filled with a strange combination of joy and dread when she found out it was. It was too late to back out. She was here, she needed to be here. She collected herself before making her way up to the room. She was a bit disappointed when she opened the door to find an empty room, but she decided to stay, to wait it out and hope for the best. She set her bag down before going and taking a seat on the bed.
Lucien had taken this girl to the hot tub out with the pool where they spent several hours talking and then making out. Things started to get a little heated so he took her back to his room, fully intending to blow her mind. The surprise when he opened the door to his suite was apparent on his face as he stared at Riley opened mouthed before turning around and quickly ushering the other girl out of his doorway. “I can’t. I have a terrible stomach ache and I just...can’t. I’m sorry. Maybe I’ll see you around.” He said to the burnette quickly, opening the door once more and slipping inside, shutting it behind him. He felt kind of bad for being rude but Riley freaking Bennett was sitting on his bed and that kind of trumped anything else at the moment. “What are you doing here?” He asked dumbly.
