“THEY’RE curious.” Yas said as she looked around. “The girls will be hunting shortly and I already know a few of them have their eyes on you.” Lucian was handsome and with his height, he was hard to miss. “Yeah, this is a normal occurrence but you’ll fit in. Do you wanna head outside for a break? I could use a smoke.” Hopefully he’d join and they could take a moment to escape the stares.

“Hunting huh? I feel like a deer.” He was honestly honored that Sirens had their eyes on him considering he was in the middle of a dry spell. He was starting to think that maybe he was the problem. “Yeah, sure,” He agreed, heading towards the door. “So what are your thoughts on all this?” Sure, she wasn’t a member but he still thought it was important to know where she stood with the patchover. 

CAINE.

Caine wasn’t a big fan of the party itself, mostly because he’s just rolling around in his own self-pity and drowning it down. Looking around for a moment, he decides to lie— not that he thinks it’ll matter to the man in front of him. “Seems good so far,” he shrugs, noticing that no one was losing another eye yet. That was a good sign. “Thanks,” he nods, not caring for the beer too much considering all the scotch he’s had but at this point, he’d drink anything with little convincing. “What do you make of the patchover? You up for it?”

He gave Caine a nod as he thanked him. The patchover was something that had to be done, maybe a necessary evil in the eyes of some. He was excited to work with the Club but also knew that no one was probably his biggest fan around here. "It’s not really up to what I think,” He noted, knowing that he virtually had no power. “I think it’ll be a good way to hopefully stop the Rogues in their tracks. I mean, enough is enough.” 

HARPER.

Apparently, the prospects here actually were hopeless. Harper continued dragging the food laden bags towards the door as they stood there, watching blankly. Giving the men her best get fucked glare, she finally made it across the threshold. And apparently her luck was looking up because standing there, with hands free, was Lucian. “Perfect,” Harper said, straightening up. “It would look so great if you helped me carry these over there.” The blonde said, passing the man a bag and patting his cheek. “Lets go.” Leading him to the empty table the chef had decided to claim, Harper raised an eyebrow at Lucian. “Why do you care if they think you’re cool or not? Didn’t know you were in the club.”

“No one’s helping you?” Lou asked, looking around. He of course was happy to help, gripping the bag and following her. “I just have a lot to prove, you know? Gotta not look dumb or anything,” He was now a newbie, pretty much at the bottom of the food chain like he was with the Bastards but at least his sister was second in command then. “I am now.” Would he have preferred to just stay in the Bastards? Yes. The Primordials seemed way more serious about membership than the gang ever did. Would he regret going against his sisters wishes? Maybe, but he was too far in now. “This is a patchover event, after-all.” 

ROWAN.

“Forget the smell — he didn’t notice the grime it left behind?” But Rowan remembers her own college days fondly, and she knows that drunk college kids could be in the middle of the apocalypse and they wouldn’t notice. And then she really clues into what he had said and her brows furrow. “Wait, you went to college? What the fuck are you doing here?”  She shrug again when he compares the dorms to college, she supposes it’s close enough. “Yeah, kinda. S’just nice to know y’all always have a place to lay low.” It’s a little cheesy but the family aspect of the club has always been one that she’s admired, figuring it’s got something to do with those pesky little *abandonment issues* she carries around with her. “We’re here a decent amount. Andy’s here most days, I usually come around a few times a week. There used to be a play house out back the kids liked to come play on. M’sure it’s just a matter of time before they throw somethin’ up since so may of the guys have families now.”

"It was dark, honestly. And everyone was really drunk,” At least from what he remembered. “By the time he realized it, I’m sure I was gone.” He probably made sure to leave not long after that. “Yeah, I did. I mean, I only got my associates,” And even then, it was in general studies, “So what do you mean?” He didn’t know why he would be somewhere else for going to college. “I’m good at laying low, so this place is perfect for me.” And who knew, maybe he’d end up here if Kali moved out of their place and lived with Javi full time. “You should ask Harper to build something like that, I know she was doing some DIY projects for her house.” 

REMI.

Remi’s eyes widened at the moment where it suddenly dawned on her that Lou was going to have work with the MC members now, her sister in particular. “Oh you poor boy.” she chuckled in amusement. “I’ll write you a manual on how to tiptoe around her. I hope you like to read because it’ll be a long one.” she shook her head as she laughed again. She knew she could always rely on Lou to make her smile or pick up her mood. “Oh easily within a week.” Remi was confident that her sister would grow tiresome of her new colleagues rather quickly. “Please don’t tell me you’re going to go all gross and biker-y on me.” she stuck out her bottom lip, purposely sulking.

Being not noticed wouldn’t be a problem for him considering who he was. For standing at a taller height than most, he really was good at blending in. “Who knows if I’ll even have to tiptoe. She might not even notice me,” He really even wondered if Blake knew who he was or remembered who he was. “I’m assuming I just have to be nice to her?” That could get a long way sometimes. “What do you mean gross and bikery? Like all greasy or somethin’? I’m still gonna be me, just now part of a new club.” 

KALI.

Kali pressed her lips into a line so tight they lost their color. Her jaw clenched with her grip on the steering wheel. Another losing battle. Nothing set her off more than losing. She hated it and Lucian was the one person she didn’t think it would happen with. “You.” She spoke through clenched teeth, restraining herself. “Have always been important. You are the most important thing in this world.” To her, at the very least and that was all that mattered. She wanted him to think the same of himself. “You could be needed somewhere else without being used to make some unappreciative asshole money.” Kali added, knowing that Otto hardly gave two shits about her let alone all the people working underneath her. She doubted that becoming a Primordial would change any of that. “I can take care of myself.” As far as she was concerned her fate was set a long time ago. “If something happens to you, if you get hurt or get locked up or satan forbid, you die, it will-” Kali cut off her sentence and set her jaw. She pulled in front of the Dive and looked over at him with glistening eyes. It will destroy me. She couldn’t bring herself to finish.

It was hard for him to hear how she was talking about him. He never felt important, even if he was in her eyes. “I’m going to be fine,” He reassured, “What else would I do? I’m not just gonna blissfully work at Skateland.” He wanted a life more fulfilling than that, and one where he could stay close to her. “I don’t look at it as bein’ used,” He shrugged, “I look at it as being important.” Lou tried to stop the smile from appearing on his face as she mentioned Satan, “I’m not going anywhere. If it comes down to it, I’ll do what I have to do to survive. You taught me that, Kali. You taught me more things than you even know.”

 The Siren had managed to snag an extra drink from the bar when a drunken prospect wasn’t looking. A beer that she could hand off to someone which would help her mingle more. Then maybe it would look like she was doing something. There were new members and she was meant to be keeping them entertained or company. “Hey, baby.” An easy pet name that she’d uttered too many times tonight. “I saw that you were alone so I thought I’d give you a drink. No one touched it but me.” Her eyes met his when she handed it forward. “It’s kind of overwhelming, huh? I don’t really know what to do with myself.” She’d been pulled in all directions a few minutes ago but without anyone needing her to sit on their lap or fetch them a drink, she was standing idly by. 

"Thanks,” He accepted the drink, taking a sip as she spoke. “Yeah, me either. I mean, you’re at least not really the newbie around here.” Lou felt like all eyes were on him. He had a tendency to somehow not stick out at all though, so he really shouldn’t be worried about people staring at him. “The gang I was in wasn’t much like this at all. We at least never really had parties as a gang. It was less involved if that makes sense.” 

FINN.

Finn didn’t know the other guy from Adam. It was obvious he’d been a Bastard and he was pretty sure he bought weed off him once of twice. But, that was it. “Ain’t sure yet. This place is new to all of us. The last one blew up.” Finn wasn’t sugar sweet about it but he wasn’t trying to be mean per se either. He knew they needed to make nice with the new members and provided this one didn’t say something stupid, he had no qualms with him. “It’s nice as fuck though, hope we can get the prospects to keep it clean this time around. Or maybe the new secretary will do it.” He shrugged. “Who the fuck are you, anyways?”

“Yeah, I remember that happenin’. At least it’s been rebuilt pretty fast,” He said with a shrug, knowing that it would’ve been annoying had they had to do this party at a makeshift place. “I wouldn’t rely too much on the secretary doing it.” The mention of his sister left a bad taste in his mouth, knowing that he was obviously writing her off because she was a woman. “Lucian. Kali’s my sister,” He figured the other man had to know who she was considering her position within the MC now. “And she’s not a cleaning lady, dude. She knows what she’s doing and she’s good at it.” 

ANDY.

Lou isn’t exactly Andy’s first choice when it comes to new members of the MC. Hell, he’s not someone Andy would pick at all – He can’t see the man as anything other than Kali’s kid brother, someone Andy knows won’t last in this life. The Bastards was one thing, but the club is another. The poor kid had a lot to prove if he wanted to keep his head above water. Andy eyes him, his answer unexpected. “Pretty cool,” he repeats the words with a scoff and an eyeroll, taking another drag. “Makin’ small talk doesn’t change the fact that you look like you’re about to shit yourself, kid.” 

He knew that Andy was tough, he figured that would be the case considering he was the VP of the Club. Even if he believed that his sister deserved a title that high, but he wouldn’t express that to Andy. He knew he should be getting along with everyone anyways rather than trying to start something. “Sorry, what should I say instead of cool?” He asked, “Neat? Nice? Any of those words work?” He could tell, he could tell when people didn’t like him or something. And he didn’t want that to be the case if he was going to be working under Andy or whatever this club called it. “Just need to get used to the new surroundings,” He hated change, it made him pretty damn anxious. “Our meeting place wasn’t anything like this. It was beneath a roller ink, y’know?” 

Primordial Clubhouse (while Harper was still there)​

It was a patchover party, whatever the hell that meant. He felt like he was in everyone’s way, it didn’t matter that this was supposed to be a celebration. "Sorry,” He said as someone passed him, feeling as if he was in their way. Looking towards Harper, he gave her a shrug. “I honestly don’t know what I should be doing right now. Would it look better if I was holding a beer?” He kept his voice low, not wanting anyone else to hear. 

Primordial Clubhouse

Lou exasperated a sigh of relief when he saw Remi. At least he could talk to her without feeling self-conscious. Talking to her was easy, it was natural and one of the few things he always looked forward to. "Kinda crazy I’m gonna be working with your sister now,” He admitted, knowing that he and Blake were quite the opposites. “How long do you think it’ll be before she tries to kill me?” It was a joke but he was quite literally afraid of the older Castillo sister. 

ROWAN.

It really isn’t his fault, but if he wants to take the blame who is she to stop him? “It’s just water. It’s fine.” At least it isn’t going to dry sticky, she thinks. While she may not particularly like him (though he has managed to grow on her the tiniest bit during their last interaction) she doesn’t want to ruin the party by laying into him for no reason. Instead her gaze moves back toward the bunk rooms and she shrugs. “Sometimes, yeah. If they’ve got no where else to go, or if they’ve had too much to drink they can’t leave.” Andy had technically lived in one of them for a few months when they were teenagers, but she doesn’t want to get into that with Lucian. “Honestly mostly they’re just used for an easy hook up spot.”

He sighed in relief when she reminded him it was just water. "You know I once spilled beer on some dude at a bar when I was in college and he asked me what it was. I told him it was water. How he couldn’t smell the beer, I have no idea but long story short, I’m glad it’s at least not beer.” It still haunts him that he lied about it to the other guy but it’s so minimal compared to other things he’s done. “Got it. So it’s like college all over again in these dorms.” He noted, knowing that he probably wouldn’t be staying in them ever. “This is actually a pretty cool place. Are you guys here a lot too?” 

KALI.

She waited until they were away from the roller rink before she started answering her brother’s questions. “Yeah something like that.” Kali nodded once. “I was thinking though, this would be a good opportunity for you to get away from all this before the only way out is retirement, banishment, or death.” She offered up. “I get that you want to be helpful, but I hate that you’re involved with all this shit. You could do so much better and I was thinking of investing in some businesses, you could help with that.” Kali pressed her lips together and glanced over at him while she drove. She didn’t want him following in her footsteps. He was way too good natured to be a biker or a criminal. “I just don’t want you to end up in prison or murdered because you’re caught up in all this and I’m not going to be in charge anymore. I can’t guarantee protection, you know?” Not that she completely had control over it before, but she could at least dictate where he was dealing.

He always took her advice to heart. Hell, most of the time he listened to Kali when it came to things. He knew she knew what was best for him most of the time. This though? He was already in too deep. “I don’t just feel helpful, Kali. I feel important, like I’m needed,” Which was something he never felt growing up. Their parents made their opinions pretty clear on how they felt about him. “I’m not going anywhere,” He didn’t care if this was him disobeying her for the first time in his life. He just couldn’t step away from this. "What about you?” He asked, “I don’t want you to end up in prison either. I don’t want anything to happen to you. I’d rather be right beside you than not knowing what’s going on at all.” 

Primordial Clubhouse

Lou had asked a prospect for two beers at the bar top, hoping that he could use the other one to make conversation. He was trying really hard to show that he belonged, especially after his conversation with Kali. There wasn’t many times he disagreed with her but this? He didn’t want to leave. Looking for anyone, Lou saw Caine and made his way over there to the other man. Caine always looked nice enough to speak to him, and at least didn’t show his disdain outright for him. "Nice party, huh?” He took a beer in his hand and offered it to Caine, “I got an extra. Swear, it’s brand new.” 

ANDY.

OPEN | PATCH OVER PARTY 

This is as relieving as it is stressful. With the patch over said and done, he feels like he can breathe a little bit easier now – They’ve got an actual means of pushing back against the Rogues now, even if this fight has only just begun. Normally, he’d be celebrating just as much as anyone else. Had this been a year ago, he would be the one pouring shots down people’s throats and drunkenly shouting about how the Rogues could suck his dick. Tonight, however, was a much different story – One that leaves him leaning against a wall outside of the clubhouse, Diet Coke in one hand and cigarette in the other, watching as the party goers become more and more chaotic. He’s more tense than he’d care to admit, the smell of booze and smoke filling the air, the former leaving him on the edge of his metaphorical seat. The only reason he hasn’t cracked open a beer or grabbed a bottle is the sheer willpower he’s managed to create, even if his grip on the soda can is close to crushing it entirely.  

His head tips back, hitting the cemented wall with a gentle thud, as his cigarette meets his lips once more. Andy doesn’t really want company – Truthfully, he’s waiting for Rowan to circle around and find him (too afraid if he makes the move to find her he’ll end up at the bar), tell him she’s had enough for tonight, so they can leave. But, it’s hard to avoid conversation on a night like this, so he pushes the smoke past his lips and acknowledges the person who’s approached. “Enjoyin’ yourself?” He settles with (Or well, shouts), easy enough – It’s stating the obvious, based on the loud cheers and deafening volume of the music around them. 

The last thing he wanted to be at this party was awkward. He knew he had to prove himself, knowing that he was no longer under his sister’s reigns. Andy Thane was someone he didn’t speak too often but if his wife was any indication of what the Thanes thought about him, he wasn’t sure he’d be too happy to see him. “I guess so,” He wasn’t sure if Andy wanted him to say that he was or wasn’t. He had no idea where he stood on the matter and the last thing he wanted was to piss off the Vice President. “The clubhouse is pretty cool,” He figured he should make conversation. They’d have to be getting used to each other anyways. “How’s the coke? Thinkin’ of getting one for myself.” 

FINN.

open starter for the patch-over party

Patch-over party. Finn had heard of them but never attended one before. It was supposed to call for a damn good time. This one, however, felt bittersweet. As usual, he’d voted with his president, for the merge but against Otto taking over. That was out voted, however, and he was pissed with the outcome. Not only did he have no loyalty for the other man, but he was sure that him in charge was going to be detrimental to the club as a whole. He was positive he only cared about himself. On top of that, the psychotic douchebag Alvarez who attacked his best friend was allowed to patch over without consequence. It seemed like a slap in the face. Finn wasn’t a fan of change in general but he understood why this one was happening. He didn’t hate all the new members, but he still wasn’t happy. 

Among the chaos, he found a spot to lean against a wall and watch the crowd. Finn was waiting for a fight to break out. Mostly so he could exercise his duties and join in without consequence. He heard the person approach and didn’t shift his focus. “The fuck you want?” He asked and took a drink from his beer. If they were looking for a happy-go-lucky greeting, they ought to know right away they’d come to the wrong guy. At least they had their clubhouse back. 

They were all one group now. It was weird to think about, but he was on board because he knew he had to be. Two groups together were better than two separate ones, right? He tried to see the best in things, he really did but some of these biker people were scary to say the least. And he wanted to fit in which he knew was going to be hard for him. It’s why he kept wandering around, looking for anyone to talk to. “Sorry, just looking around.” He said, raising his arms up as if he was surrendering. “It’s cool around here. You guys have any trap doors that I have to worry about?”
