Tutorial - Semplici basette a tema urbano - Simple urban bases
In questo tutorial voglio illustrarvi come come si possono realizzare delle semplici basette urbane per miniature sci-fi. – In this tutorial I will show you how you can realize some simple urban bases for sci-fi miniatures.
Per prima cosa puliamo e limiamo le basette e procuriamoci un pezzo di foglio di sughero da 2 o 3 mm di spessore – First, we clean and polish the bases and let’s get a piece of cork sheet 2 or 3 mm thick
Rompiamo poi il sughero in parti corrispondenti più o meno al diametro della basetta cercando di realizzare forme irregolari – We break then the cork in corresponding parts more or less to the diameter of the base trying to make irregular shapes
Incolliamo il sughero alla basetta e aspettiamo che asciughi. Procediamo poi ad incollare la miniatura alla base di sughero con della colla cianoacrilica (ci servirà come “manico” successivamente). – Glue the cork to the base and wait for it to dry. We then proceed to glue the miniature to cork base with cyanoacrylate glue (it will serve as a “handle” later).
Stendiamo ora uno strato di colla vinilica negli spazi vuoti tra il sughero e la basetta – We spread now a layer of PVA glue in the empty spaces between the cork and the base
Immergiamo completamente la basetta nella sabbia e rimuoviamone successivamente l’eccesso. Lasciamo asciugare e coloriamo a piacere! – Completely submerge the base in the sand and then let’s remove the excess. Leave to dry and color at will!
Ecco il riusltato dopo la colorazione. – Here is the result after painting.
