The Dong with a Luminous Nose, based on Edward Lear’s darkly nonsensical poem (see below) of the same name is a spine-tingling new puppet theatre project, currently in development. The first stage of its evolution culminated this summer in a R&D week in Cornwall at the Kneehigh barns. Bringing together a world-class creative team all under one roof and by the end of the week everyone was pretty fired-up about the project and its’ potential – So, as we pause to take stock and consider how to move on from here, this video is intended to reflect something of our activities during the R&D and of the creative process which has taken us this far!
