지다 (어/아 지다) — 낯선 사람이 오면 그 모든 아이기들은 무서워져요. “When ‘strangers’/’unfamiliar people’ come the babies/children get scared.”

지우다 — 할 모든 실수를 선 한 개로 지우세요. "Cross out every mistake with a single line."

지키다 — 그 개는 밤새 집을 지켜야 해요. "The dog must guard the house all night."

초 — 내 누나는 우리가 수영을 하러 갈때 60초뿐만 물속에 앉을 수 있어요. "My Noona (older sister) can only sit under the water for 60 seconds when we go swimming."

치유 — 암의 치유가 없어서 싫어요. "It sucks there is not cure for cancer."

하다 — 1) 엄마가 왜 화났어요? 숙제를 안 했어서 그래요? "Why did Mom get angry? Is it because you didn't do your homework?"

한계 — 파스타를 얼마나 먹을 수 있는 한계가 없어요. "There's no limit to how much pasta I can eat."

한치 — 이 놀이기구를 타기에는 건 그 사람이 그 아이가 적어도 한치 너무 짧다고 말했어요. "That man said said that that child is at least one inch too short to ride this ride."

헤매다 — 밤 동안에 숲으로 진짜 헤매지 말아야 돼요. "You really shouldn't wander the woods at night."

홀로 — 처음으로 홀로 막 운전했어요. "I just drove alone for the first time."

흐려지다 — 그 남자의 여친은 내일 그 없이 여행을 해야겠다니 남자는 눈이 눈물로 흐려지고 못 봤어요. 그럴 볼 때 여친도는 슬퍼졌어요. "His eyes became blurred with tears and he couldn't see when his girlfriend told him she had to travel without him tomorrow. Seeing this made her sad, too." (lit: "That man's girlfriend said that tomorrow, without him, she would have to travel, so the man's eyes became blurred with tears and he couldn't see. 아니다 — 1) 어렸을땐 하나 개의 고양이를 원하지만 제가 고양이를 진짜 사랑하는 것을 배웠을 때부터 이제는 하나 개의 고양이뿐만 아니라 많은 고양이를 원해요. "When I was young I wanted a/one cat, but since I learned that I really love cats, I want not just one, but many (cats.)" 

2) 학생이 아닙니다. "I am not a student."

아픔 — '아픔 단어'보다 '고통 단어'가 훨씬 더 강하게 느껴요. "The word 'pain (고통)' feels much stronger than the word 'pain (아픔)'."

맘 — 자기 맘대로 우리가 할게요. 

"We'll do whatever you want to do, baby."

멎다 — 모닥불이 멎을 때 우리가 집 안으로 다 돌아갔어요. 

"We all went inside when the fire died down."

무너지다 — 충분히 안 먹으면 무너질 수도 있어요. 

"If you don't eat enough, you could collapse."

믿다 — 1) 난 날을 수 있기 믿어. 하늘을 만질 수 있기 믿어. 매일 날과 매일밤 이럴 생각해. 날갤 퍼지고 날아가.

보다 — 할머니께서 아파셔서 어제 보러 갔어요.

사라지다 — 혼자 있으면 안 좋아해서 제발 늦게 돌아오지 말고 사라지지 마세요. 그렇죠? 

"I don't like being alone so please don't come back late or disappear. Okay?"

서로 — 그 사람과 안 좋아하면 왜 서로 결혼됐어요? 

"If you don't like him, then why are you married to each other?"

소리 — 1) 세상에서 제일 슬픈 소리의 하나 중이 애기들이 울고 있는 소리예요. 

“One of the saddest sounds in the world is the sound of babies crying.” 

2) 우린 그 사람의 엄청 미인때문에 소리를 치는 충동이 자주 있어요. 

"We often get the urge to scream because of that person's great/excessive beauty."

속 — 1) 그 집은 밖보다 속이 더 아름다워요. 

“The/that house is more beautiful on the inside than on the outside.” 

2) 마음 속에 아픔이 있는 듯이 그 사람은 가슴을 만지고 있어요.

숱하다 — 들판에 있는밀은 아주 숱해요.

시험 — 시험을 잘 보기를 위한 실력이 진짜 부족해요.

심장 — 제 친구의 심장을 먹은 그 좀비가 이젠 저를 꼭 먹고 싶은 것 같아요.

깨어나다 — 할머니께서 드디어 깨어났을 때 자신의 머리가 엄청 아파지다고 말씀하셨어요.

꺼내다 — 오븐에서 파이를 이따 꺼내고 계산대로 놓을게요? 

"Will you take the pie out of the oven later and put it on the counter?"

꾸다 — 저는 괴물이 저를 먹기에 대한 꿈을 막 꾸었어요. 

"I just dreamed that a monster was eating me."

꿈 — 그 사람은 내 꿈의 사람이야. 

"That's the person/one of my dreams." (lit: "That person is the of my dreams person.")

끝나다 — 하루의 일을 다 끝낼 땐 제가 단 과자를 먹기 좋아해요. 

"When I finish with (all) the days work I like to eat sweet snacks."

나 — 이게 진짜 너고 이게 진짜 나야. 

“This is ‘really you’/'the real you’ and this is 'really me’/'the real me.’”

너 (니) — 1) 니 강아지가 3살이군나? 

“Your puppy is 3 years old? (Realy?!)”

 2) 너와 나 사이에 뭔가 있어요.

“There’s something between you and me/us.”

네 (너의) — 1) 네, 그렇습니다. 

"Yes, that's right/so." 

2) 네 애인이 있습니까? 

"Do you have a partner/lover?" (lit: "Does your lover exist?")

눈 — 1) 눈이 너무 예쁜데 제가 볼 수밖에 없어. 미안해. 그만할게.

듯 — 마음 속에 아픔이 있는 듯이 그 사람은 가슴을 만지고 있어요.

뛰다 — 이상한 사람이 당신으로 오면 뛰어야 돼요.

As of right now this blog is running with a “staff” of one (me xD).

I really need some help to build up the database so we can meet our goal of helping Korean learns better their knowledge of this beautiful language.

(As there is only just me running things right now, I still haven’t gotten around to making a theme for this blog, but if I had help I might be able to start on something. For the moment I have been focussed on trying to update the blog with as many words as possible.)

닿다 — 전화하고 싶었던 하지만 해보고 못닿았어요.

더 — 1) 가끔씩 전애인 생각이 나마다 제 아픔이 점점 더 많아요.

감각 — 매일 니가 나를 주고 있는 행복의 끝없어진 그 감각이 내게 너와 절대 헤어지고 싶은 건 안 되게 해요.

고요 — 여기 이곳에 고요가 너무 많아서 좀 긴장돼요.

깨우다 — 그는 얼굴 위에 뱀의 그림을 그려지는 채 깨우고 거울 속에서 바라볼 땐 배가 아플 때까지 웃었어요.

나 — 이게 진짜 너고 이게 진짜 나야.
