off an edible walking around paris behind another (presumably?) queer asian person on the way to the train station, and i’m thinking about how i feel connected to every visibly-queer asian person i see in public—like we’re all members of some unspoken network, or cells making up some kind of magical body—and whether they all feel that way about me too. i find myself always searching for some kind of linkage (even without interaction or even if abstract). for example, this person in front of me is mustard, and i am ketchup.

when we make eye contact, i envision them as a child, and then myself as one too, and then i imagine us playing.
