What does BTS do during a comeback?
A typical comeback consists of the MV and album release (6PM KST on the day of comeback), this is followed by music show promotions (typically their first comeback show is on M!Countdown), and fansigns.
When will the MV + album drop?
In the past comebacks were at 12AM or 12PM KST, but due to changes in the music industry, releases for albums and music videos will most likely be dropped at the same time, which is 6PM KST on the disclosed comeback day unless Big Hit states otherwise.
Contents of an album vary with each release, but generally an album consists of a CD, a photobook, a poster, and a photocard.
This depends on the size of the album (ex. mini album, repackage album, full album) and if you are purchasing in Korea or overseas. You will need to wait until pre-orders start to know the price of the album. As prices vary for shipping depending on the weight of the album, the store or site you are purchasing from, and the location you are shipping to, you will need to wait to see the shipping for yourself.
Are the contents of the albums translated into English? Will you translate the contents of the albums?
No, they typically arenโt. Sorry, we will not be posting translations, but you can find many translators on Twitter who post translations of the contents.
Should I pre-order or can I hold off on ordering the album until later?
It is safest to pre-order as soon as you can as Big Hit usually has special โgiftsโ for the albums that are first press (see question about first press below). In the case of LOVE YOURSELF ่ฝ โTear,โ the poster is included for first press copies of the album and a special photocard is randomly placed in some first press copies. Albums will never โrun out,โ you just may not get the limited edition perks that you would get if you ordered earlier on.ย
Whatโs the difference between versions of the album? What is first press? What is a repackage? What is a mini album and what is a full album?
The number of versions per album depends on what Big Hit decides. For WINGS, there were four versions, while for YOU NEVER WALK ALONE, there were only two versions. Typically the difference between the version of the album are just the cover, photocards, posters, and photobooks. The songs contained in each album are the same. Therefore, if you buy different versions, you are technically buying the same songs, but for different contents and packaging.
First press is essentially the first batch of albums published by Big Hit. This first batch is a limited amount, therefore items that are exclusive to first press are also limited. It is basically the same as โlimited edition.โ Depending on what is decided by Big Hit, some first press albums have special photocards or picture stands, however, whether or not there is an special first press items in each album depends on what Big Hit decides for the comeback.
Repackage is when BTS takes the preceding album and adds a few more songs to it and โrepackagesโ it. This can be seen with the WINGS album. WINGS was promoted and for the next comeback BTS added four new songs to the album, created YNWA, then promoted that album. For the physical copy of the album, a whole new physical album was created despite the fact that the majority of the songs were old. This new album included new photobooks, new photocards, new posters, etc.
Mini albums (also known as EPs) have less songs that full albums. To give a better understanding in the context of BTS, Dark & Wild and WINGS are full BTS albums, the first having 14 tracks and the second having 15 tracks. HYYH PT. 1, HYYH PT. 2, and LOVE YOURSELF ๆฟ โHerโ on the other hand are mini albums with 9 tracks each (however LOVE YOURSELF ๆฟ โHerโ came with two hidden tracks on the physical copy of the album).
Where can we pre(order) the BTS album?
The most common places to order are btsofficialshop.com, kpopmart.com, kpoptown.com, ktown4u.com, and yesasia.com. I have used kpopmart.com and kpoptown.com. I used kpopmart.com because I have the most loyalty points with them and they send you a picture of your package as proof before they send it out. But kpoptown.com can be a bit cheaper (a few USDs). I would use (and do trust) btsofficialshop.com as it is the official shop run by Big Hit, but the shipping is way too expensive for me (as I live in the U.S.). However, I have also heard good reviews ktown4u.com. Apparently thatโs the cheapest of them all. Pre-order on sites listed above will most likely begin on the announced day for pre-orders at 12PM KST or later. Each site posts the product on their page on their own schedule, so it is hard to predict the exact time that pre-orders go up. If you are active on Twitter, there are also group orders held by country. Group orders basically work by placing an order through a group order manager. All transactions are between you and that person and most of the time you will need to pay three paymentsโalbum payment, EMS shipping payment (from Korea to your country), and domestic shipping payment (from the group order manager to you). However, before committing to a group order, please do some research on Twitter in order to be sure that the person you are buying from is a trustworthy seller. See what others have to say about them. Unfortunately there really are scammers and unreliable people out there, so be aware.

Where can I stream MVs and albums?
The Korean sites to stream on include Melon, but there is also Genie, Naver Music, Mnet, Bugs, and a few more sites. However, those are the main sites. These sites are only available through the Korean app store though.
Other music streaming services which help BTS chart on the Billboard Chart include Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, and Amazon Music, along with smaller name streaming sites like Tidal and Soundcloud.

As for music videos, please stream on Big Hitโs official channel, http://youtube.com/ibighit. In the past, BTS used to have videos on 1theK, but now MVs are only posted official on Big Hitโs YouTube channel.
What is a music show and which music shows will BTS promote on?
Music shows are where artists promote their songs. So they perform live and it is broadcast nationwide or it is pre-recorded then broadcast during the showโs time slot. The music shows that BTS will promote on are M!Countdown, Music Bank, Music Core, Inkigayo and possibly The Show and Show Champion. The first four are the major music shows. I donโt think there is a monetary prize for winning number 1, but they do get a trophy if they win! In Korea, winning the weekly shows is a big deal to both the artists and fans.
