yoshiki reacted 😭 to "i'd tell her but i don't think she'll be able to hear me over the voices in her head telling her he wants her" yoshiki: i wish he Would want her. i don't know how much more i can take yoshiki: we are in space. surely we have the technology to clone kenneth and program that clone to fall madly in love with her. emery probably knows how yoshiki: wait, is that an ethics violation? i feel like ander might raise some complaints yoshiki: we could pass her off to them if we want to, but you know they'll just pass her right back ....... yoshiki: she needs new friends

yuna: baby, who CARESSSS about an ethics violation if it means we DON'T HAVE TO KEEP DOING THIS yuna: hundreds of men at her feet and she wants the one (1) that wants nothing to do with her, isn't this too Much ... think about how good a clone would be for us ... yuna: maybe we can shove her at tommy and romi, they like to adopt strays ... or give her back to her brother yuna: as long as it's somebody who hasn't heard this same spiel 100 times over, i don't really care who 😭

“so    i'm    convenient,”    she    exhales,    almost    too    quiet    for    him    to    hear    over    the    monotonous    hum    of    the    ship's    interior,    but    just    loud    enough    that    she    knows    he    does.    “aren't    you    charming.”    he's    contradictory,    is    what    he    is    ⎯    nonsensical,    almost,    in    how    he    dismisses    her    and    calls    her    baby,    too,    fingers    impressed    on    her    waist    like    he's    trying    to    mark    his    territory    and    ruin    her    for    anyone    who    comes    after    him.    she    doesn't    even    know    if    he    believes    himself    when    he    captures    her    lips    just    to    mutter    excuses    against    them.    she    thinks    to    call    him    on    it,    wants    to,    but    he    changes    the    tide    before    she    can:    has    her    up    against    the    wall,    his    hips    rocking    against    hers,    and    all    of    the    blood    in    her    body    rushing    to    her    head    so    fast    she    gets    dizzy.    she    loops    her    arms    around    his    neck,    breath    shuddering    against    his    lips    at    the    first    messy    grind.    another    contradiction:    the    game    of    pretending    he'll    deny    her    anything    when    he's    taught    her    exactly    how    to    want;    pretending    that    he    might    say    no    to    her    when    all    she's    done    thus    far    is    walk    into    the    room.    her    lips    meet    his    again,    so    gently    brushing    against    whatever    lie    he's    prepared    to    tell    himself    next.    “what    i    want    ...    ah.”    feather-soft    and    easy    as    sin,    she    sneaks    a    hand    between    them    and    uses    her    fingertips    to    distance    his    lips    from    hers.    the    fresh    coat    of    her    nail    polish    almost    looks    electric    against    the    heated    skin    of    his    chin.    the    image    of    him,    red    and    heady,    is    nearly    enough    to    make    her    forget    the    pride    that's    at    stake    here.    fingertips    hover    the    slick    state    of    his    bottom    lip,    not    quite    touching    but    near    enough    to    feel    the    heat    of    what    she's    left    behind.    “if    i    want    to    say    goodnight    and    go?    being    called    convenient    is    a    bit    of    a    moodkiller.”    then,    with    the    same    care    one    puts    into    closing    a    beloved    book,    she    presses    her    thumb    against    his    bottom    lip    and    meets    his    gaze.    “apologize    or    put    me    down.    that's    what    i    want.”

 for   what   it's   worth,   he's   kind   enough   to   hide   his   smirk   just   below   her   jaw,   teeth   sinking   into   the   delicacy   of   her   skin   as   his   fingertips   trail   higher   up   her   thighs. “ you're   mine, ” he   corrects   with   ease,   though   only   after   he's   pleased   with   the   mess   he's   made   of   her   skin.   red   blooms   around   the   imprint   of   his   teeth,   mottled   and   hot,   and   his   eyes   stick   to   the   spot   for   a   moment,   desire   spilling   over   as   his   canines   pierce   his   own   lip. “ ‘s   the   convenient   part. ” and   it's   not   what   she   wants   to   hear,   not   by   a   mile,   but   as   his   hips   cant   upwards   in   a   slow   grind,   he   struggles   to   find   it   within   himself   to   bother   caring   for   minced   words.   it   takes   a   moment   to   pull   himself   out   of   it,   mind   clouded   by   want,   but   the   distance   she   places   between   them   serves   as   the   right   trigger   to   his   senses,   attention   snapping   back   as   his   head   tilts   back.   like   this,   he's   granted   the   perfect   view   of   the   fluttering   of   her   lashes   against   the   pink   of   her   cheeks,   though   he's   robbed   of   the   chance   to   admire   her   by   the   grip   she   takes   on   his   chin. “ so   touchy, ” he   protests,   though   it   comes   out   positively   breathy,   the   air   of   condescension   he   so   typically   carries   as   much   a   victim   to   francesca   as   jace   himself.   huffing   out   a   sigh,   he   leans   back   in,   tongue   soothing   over   the   very   finger   that   silences   him   as   he   weighs   the   options   laid   before   him.   caving   is   inevitable,   he   knows,   tension   running   through   his   forearms   in   hopes   of   staying   put,   but   sue   him,   he   likes   the   evolution   of   their   cat   and   mouse   game,   likes   the   chase   that   comes   with   such   obviously   feigned   disinterest.   he   stays   like   that   for   a   moment,   dark   eyes   shimmering   with   mirth   even   in   the   heat   of   the   fight. “ you   ask   so   much   of   me, ” he   murmurs,   though   they   both   know   it   to   be   untrue.   sharp   teeth   nip   at   the   pad   of   her   thumb,   and   he   takes   care   to   rock   his   hips   one,   two,   three   more   times   before   his   head   dips   in   his   acquiescence. “ i'm   sorry. ” he   punctuates   it   with   one   final   act   of   tenderness,   a   kiss   pressed   featherlight   to   the   thin   skin   that   still   hovers   over   his   lips   before   he   pulls   back   to   truly   look   at   her,   craving   written   all   over   his   face. “ as   if   you   could   ever   just   be   convenient   when   rock   my   whole   world   every   time   you   look   at   me. ”
