Project on eating disorders
Hello tumblr, I need all your help, it’s important !
Today we are going to help the ones who live with eating disorders. Simply by spreading this message and rebloging it, so I can contact all people who have an eating disorder, anorexya, bulemia or ARFID ( also called SED Selective Eating Disorder in the past).
Why I need to contact them ? How can I help ?
I am a student in food process engineering with a specialty in data science in France. We are a group of 8 students and we work on an « innovative project », the other groups work on a product innovation. But we work on a method innovation, it is a statistical method that helps diagnosing or helping the patients to understand more their disease. The ARFID disease (Avoidant Restrective Food Intake Disorder) is not known, a lot of patients are lost and don’t understand their own disease because it was only named in 2014 and not all the doctors know about this eating disorder.
Our group wants to help the ARFID people, by spreading a survey that helps us to define more specifically the disease and for that we need ton contact all tumblers that have any eating disorder. The more we have information on the different eating disorders the more we will define precisely each one of them.
