Shockwave who was almost completely destroyed was found by humans and was repaired by them unaware that he is sentient because the humans thought that the transformers were just people piloting giant robots

So now we have orphan young bee who is excited to be one of the few to pilot shockwave

The humans uploaded an ai to shockwave but shockwave deleted it and pretended to be the ai, shockwave behind the scene was trying to find the other decepticons and investigate the humans and the organization keeping him and chose to take advantage of bee due to him being younger and more naive, bee continued to talk to shockwave and grow attached to him sharing stuff about his life and asking shockwave stuff (nicknamed him longarm)

(shockwave gets attached and goes to google to search up ways to raise a human)

The other human who piloted shockwave suspiciously dies by electricution or cooking them alive inside the mech, or something else with bee miraculously the only one to not die and was almost arrested in suspision of murder but shockwave had somehow fabricated some footages framing wasp, so bee's name was cleared and wasp is arrested

Bee is the only one who continued to piloted shockwave until years later (bee is older idk 20s or 30s) eventually the other transformers who are on earth awaken from their stasis and fight and calls the others etc etc. Now we have shockwave revealing who he is and kidnaps bee.

Thats basically it

Soundwave in this au isnt made by isaac and i made him compete with shockwave for bee's custody because 1 he is a small squishy organic, 2 he is SUPERIOR, 3 he has experience with children, so soundwave's conclusion: soundwave: superior sire, shockwave: inferior, now hand that lil one to soundwave, shockwave

soundwave competing with shockwave JUST FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME.
