âThankful for you...â
Thankful Pt. 2
Miles awkwardly lingered near his car for no particular reason then that he wouldn't be able to go into the restaurant without Ace since he was the one who held the reservations for the two of them. Another was that all the doors were confusing him, he didnât know which door he had to go into so it would lead into the restaurant. Before Miles could overthink it, he momentarily glanced away from his phone, and suddenly met eyes with Phoenix across the parking lot. While Miles had his rather cold, stiff facial expression on his face, it was suddenly perturbed by Aceâs wonky smile.Â
Ace managed to muster up the courage to leave his car and lock sit behind him. He glanced over at the beat up nature of it and decided not to over think it. Sure, Ace had money, quite a bit of it, but it was never really his style to go off and spend it all on a whim, it was ridiculous to do something as flashy as that, it was stupid he believed. But when Miles did it, it somehow made sense in Phoenixâs mind. After he let out a pent up sigh, he pocketed his keys and made his way over to Miles. With a small smile, he gestured him to walk with him all the way to the door of the fairly nice restaurant. Once they reached the entrance, Phoenix smoothly stated his name before opening the door for Miles to walk in first.
âYou go first, Edgeworth.â Phoenix said which made Miles pause.
âPlease, call me Miles.â Now it was Phoenixâs turn to be caught off guard. He looked at Miles in surprise and nodded dumbly in response before he followed Edgeworth in. Once they had reached their table, there began the routine of looking through the menu in silence. Miles knew what he wanted from the moment he opened the menu; wine and the roasted salmon. Ace was a little different, after going back and forth on it for a little while, he finally decided on some whiskey and steak, choices he would grow to later on regret. After their orders were placed, then began the simple conversation which brewed between the two men.
âThank you for this, you didnât have to but you did,â Edgeworth mumbled. Phoenix looked up from his glass of whiskey and smiled to himself a little. Even though he just started on his drinking, his cheeks were already feeling warm.Â
âOf course, weâre friends,â the warm feeling turned bitter on his tongue the moment that came from his lips. âEven though we have to compete in the courtroom, I donât want that to interfere with our real friendship if that makes any sense,â Phoenix explained as he placed his glass down on the table again.Â
Miles was surprised, but his indifferent expression didnât waver for a moment. âNow that it is only us, I feel this is an appropriate moment to discuss some things,â he began, and before he would allow Phoenix to agree to discussing this, he went on with his talking. âI want to - um - thank you for what youâve done. With my case and all of that.â He explained. Sure, it was months ago but he had to admit, he wouldnât be forgetting his generosity and kindness anytime soon. It almost made him guilty, he had so much pent up malice inside of him that looking at Phoenix sometimes made him physically ill. He had to take a sip of wine or else he knew he would soon lose his composure again as he did after his own trial.Â
âMiles.â
âI didnât expect that you would be on my side, helping me --Â â
âMiles.â
â -- with the case and all that, thats why I wanted to help --Â â
âMiles.â
â -- you.â Miles paused and looked at Phoenix in some surprise. In the time that Miles was talking, Phoenix managed to finish his glass of whiskey, and he simultaneously revealed that he was a lightweight, a horrible lightweight when it came to drinking. While he wasnât drunk, his cheeks were bright pink, and he was clearly tipsy as well. Why did Edgeworth find this, endearing? Edgeworth didn't want to focus on that, instead he looked at his eyes; he found that to be an even bigger mistake. They were bright and golden, there was a literal fire in them that caught Edgeworth off guard momentarily. That was also when he glanced down to look at his tie, yeah, a simple tie but the way it accentuated his neck was â
âYouâre blushing.â Phoenix stated with a small, devious smirk. Miles didnât know that his face was warm, but now it was exceptionally so. Phoenix snickered at Miles reaction before he went and ordered himself a cold water to help himself sober up. Miles wished he could blame it on the wine but that would be unreasonable, after all, he only had a few nips of it, not enough to make a toddler drunk.
âIsn't it hot in here?â
âNo Miles, I believe thatâs just you,â Miles was even more caught off guard by that, and he was stunned by how Phoenix simply smirked and didn't seemed phased by this. Since Phoenix was being blunt with his statements, Miles felt as if he could do the same thing to Phoenix.
âAre you flirting? With me?â
âPerhaps.â
âWhy are you so... prepared with all of this?â
âCauseâ I wanted to test them out on you.â
âWhat?â
âI wanted to flirt with you, but a courtroom is no place to build up tension,â he drunkenly stated. Woah, Miles never saw it as that, he never saw them building up tension. That was a blatant lie. Whenever they would be in court, fighting over a case, both trying to win their respective verdicts, he would always feel a heat building up over each others words, a strong, pulling tension that made him want to yell louder, pound his hand harder, pull his tie tighter --
âYouâre drunk, Phoenix.â Miles concluded with a small sigh and a larger sip of his wine. âBut then again, we are here to celebrate,â he explained as their food came to the table. He was grateful that now he would be able to keep Phoenix quiet with the food. But did that work? No, after all, Phoenix was a peculiar figure.
âWe should go back to my place for coffee.â
âOr mine, after all, I remember you telling me once that your room was so littered with papers that you forgot what the floor looked like. In my opinion, it doesn't sound the least bit relaxing,â Miles explained with a smug smile. Phoenix seemed to have an even bigger smirk on his face if that was possible.
âAlright.â
The rest of the dinner went on with the same, playful bantering. From talking about previous cases, the evidence room and all the way to them fighting over the bill.
âPhoenix, let me handle this.â
âNo, I invited you out here! I want to pay for it.â
âWhy donât we split the bill at least?â
âWill that get you to stop glaring at me?â
âMost likely, yes.â
âFine.â
The bill was effectively split. With that, Miles decided it would be best for him to drive the two of them back to his house. After all, even though Phoenix was sober again, he still didnât trust that he would slip up and get himself killed out of negligence. When Miles closed the door and started the car, that was when things began to get a little...
Out of hand. But oh, was he ever thankful for that.
Just Thank you.Â

âIâm Breaking Apart...â
Shiro x Male!Reader Part 1
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...
Trigger Warning: Mentioning of Domestic Abuse
âThat was a beautiful wedding,â the white haired male mumbled as he glanced over at his own husband, he looked at his tanned skin and his gorgeous eyes, it had been a year since the world was changed, a year since he had fallen in love like this.
Except, this was all a lie, everything about his relationship was a lie. Shiro managed to cover the bruises with what seemed like magic, a fake smile and a gentle laugh. All the advice he has given his friends, his partners in crime, his family all fell under a horrible lie. When he was asked If he was happy in his current relationship, Shiro had a nasty habit of smiling and nodding, but he always had his hand behind his back, his fingers were crossed and so was his heart. His once open heart was now guarded by thorns, countless thorns that threatened to rip his heart into shreds at the wrong movement.
âYeah, can we leave yet?â Shiroâs husband asked. To everyone else he was the perfect partner, he was kind, gentle, he knew how to laugh and bring up the mood of everyone around him, these were a few of the reasons as to why Shiro fell horribly in love with him. But like how Shiro placed a facade, his husband was no exception. From his gentle grasp on his arm all the way to the affectionate way he would go and grab Shiro some food or something to drink when he asked for it.Â
âYou know that we have to stay at least for dinner, right? Afterwards we can leave, or else people would suspect somethingâ Shiro stated as he placed his metallic hand on his husbands upper arm. With that, Shiro took the initiative to lead himself over to the groom and the bride of the wedding. After congratulating them, Shiro carefully lingered behind his husband as he waited for him to choose were they would be sitting. When Shiro saw that they were being called over by his friends, he tensed up and glanced over at his husband to see if that was alright. Since they were in public, he seemed more willing to let them both go and sit with Shiroâs friends.Â
At the table there were quite a few people. Lance, Keith, Hunk, Pidge and Coran were only a few of those who were there. It was painful to see them all, but it was even more painful to see him. He also looked happy among everyone else at the table. While he didn't run the lions as Shiro once had, they were close, he was always hanging around Coran, helping out wherever he could.
His name was (Y/N), he used to be a successful teacher of physics in the Garrison, well, that was until him and a few of his students decided to deviate from their planet and go fight the universal battle against Zarkon and his family. While in space, he was surprised to see and rekindle his friendship with Shiro, something that actually formed into something... more. Neither of them acted on the active chemistry between them, why? Respect for the other. While (Y/N) felt horribly drawn towards Shiro, he knew anything between them would be impossible because of Adam. And by the time they found out about Adamâs faith, things became too complicated on earth and in space for anything to happen between them.Â
Shiroâs husband wasnât aware of their relationship, their previous feeling for each other, the gentle flame that still burned between them.Â
âIâve always loved weddings, especially yours, Shiro,â Pidge explained as she gently swiped her glass of blue liquid with one hand. Shiroâs shoulders tensed and he smiled at that rather forcefully.
âIt was a wonderful day.â But little did anyone know that his wedding day was breaking him apart. Well, everyone except one person. The way he looked at Shiro was sympathetic, while he was unaware of most of the relationship Shiro had with his husband, he was able to see so much. After all, anyone could cover their scars and their bruises with no problem, but eyes? Eyes were the gateway into a persons soul, and that was impossible to cover up. Shiro was hurting and (Y/N) was going to get to the bottom of it even if it ate him alive.Â

âThankful For You...â
Thankful Pt. 1
(Phoenix Wright x Miles Edgeworth)
âAnd here I declare the defendant, not guilty!â The judges declared with a simultaneous slam of his gavel. Phoenix looked at Ema in surprise, a beaming smile spread on his face as he went about giving her a small hug at the news they had received.
âWe won, Phoenix! We won!â Ema cheered, her hand patted Phoenixâs back ceremoniously before she removed it rather suddenly at seeing the cold aura approaching them. At the sight of Edgeworth, she cringed, a chill went up her spine at his cool, collected demeanor.
Phoenix knew quite a bit about Edgeworth, in fact, so much that he could even tell that Edgeworth was sweating throughout the case by the gentle sheen that laid across the males forehead. Phoenix diverted his attention from that and instead feigned a small smile.
âEdgeworth.â
âWright.â
âGood case, Edgeworth.â
âQuite.â
An awkward silence ensued in which Ema cleared by coughing once.
âI need to go and meet with my sister, Phoenix,â she stated before she started to walk backwards, she desperately wanted to avert herself away from the situation, so once she was far enough, she was practically running off.
Edgeworth and Phoenix watched as the woman ran off before they looked back at each other. Phoenixâs smile was somewhat wider, clearly apologetic about what Ema had just done.
âSheâs... tense, sheâs happy we won, but you know how these things go.â He explained with a tense chuckle at the end.
Edgeworth rose his brow, a steamy huff escaped his lips as he crossed his arms and looked at Phoenix through the side of his eye.
âI could tell,â Edgeworth explained with a small smirk. âAnyways, I should properly congratulate you. You managed to do it...â he paused, chewing at his lip for a second. âAgain.â Edgeworth was clearly tense about this as well. He wasnât too pleased with the situation, he wished it went differently, he wished that things ended differently. As much as he loved justice, he also loved earning the win for himself, but with Wright on the stand it was nearly impossible to accomplish that.
âWhy donât we go and celebrate?â Edgeworth found himself hearing. He looked over at Phoenix in surprise, he wasnât expecting Phoenix to offer to take him along somewhere, it was quite unexpected. But instead of just denying it, Edgeworth curtly nodded.
âI canât right now. But I can tonight,â he stated. He had work, he always had worth. It was a curse he wasnât ever able to escape from. He let out a small sigh before he looked at Phoenix again. âThanks for the offer,â he mumbled before he went about going to walk off.
âWait!â Edgeworth paused in his tracks and looked behind him to see that Phoenix still had that dumb smile on his face. âI need your phone number so we can hash out details,â he stated as he walked over to Edgeworth and quickly went about exchanging details. Once done, Phoenix was already off to go and talk to Gumshoe. Edgeworth was left standing there with his phone open on contacts like a bumbling idiot. He didnât know how to properly address Phoenix, he didnât know what his contact should be. Phoenix? Wright? Asshole thatâs ruining my reputation? He decided with Phoenix in the end as the contact name. With that all written out on his phone, he decided he would hop into his nice, bright red car and make his way back to his home in order to get ready for the celebratory dinner.Â
A few hours passed. In this time, Miles felt the tree build up in his mind, he was tense, worried about what would happen between him and Phoenix so soon. This happened to be the exact moment that his car pulled into the parking lot of the fancy, gently lit restaurant. All the tension was building up in his middle, and little did he know that the same was happening for Phoenix as well.Â
Phoenix was probably more nervous than heâs ever been for a celebratory dinner. His main goal of the night was to impress Edgeworth, impress him into thinking that Phoenix was finally a worthy opponent. He let out a soft sigh as he pulled up into the parking lot in his rather old car, that was when he caught sight of Milesâ flamboyant, red car. He gulped and felt all the tension rise to his throat, his heartbeat was right behind his eyes. Did he have a headache? Was he sick? He didnât know. He attempted to smooth down his spiky hair only for it to jump back up in its usual fashion.Â
Neither of them knew that their nerves were leading them towards something spectacular that night, something they would be thankful for.Â

What I Write
The fandoms which Iâll wrote for are quite plentiful, in fact there's a fairly large chance that Iâve seen or played what you want me to wrote about. So in that case, instead of boring you with random fandoms, here is where Iâll be placing down my rules and guidelines.Â
- I will not write for any underage character sleeping with an older character. For example, Ema with Phoenix Wright from Ace Attorney.
- A will not write a queer character into a straight relationship. I feel like itâs disrespecting the character and their CANNON sexuality, so Iâm sorry, no Shiro x Fem!Reader.Â
- I do write for all sexualities and gender identities. Aromantic bisexual? You got it!
- I donât just wrote for TV shows or movies, I also write for video games and books too! And if Iâm unfamiliar with a book or any suggestion, it may take me a while to finish it since Iâm either reading a ginormous character synopsis or Iâm actually getting into the fandom.
- Kinks will be dealt with as things progress.Â
- If you have personal fan art you want to include with a certain post, send it my way! Iâll be happy to include it.
- And finally, if you have any requests, please direct message me or send me an anonymous message!
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope youâll enjoy what I write next and I look forward to seeing your suggestions!
