Being Different Is Beautiful

Im always surprised when people come up to me asking for advice about relationships and how they picture our relationship the “perfect one.” I always say the same thing because it’s true. “My boyfriend and I are not perfect, we have our highs and lows just like everyone else. But one thing we don’t do is fight! Which I’m so thankful for. We both are mature adults who talk things out and have serious discussions. Sometimes we say things we don’t mean because we are sarcastic assholes and it slips out but knowing that we have this amazing communication and trust between us, that’s what keeps us strong and growing. So no, we aren’t perfect, what you see is two best friends who are obnoxiously in love and aren’t afraid to show it.” I also get asked, “How did you do it? How did you already find the person you’re gonna spend the rest of your life with?!” My answer has never been more clear. “It’s because I fell in love with my best friend!” We’ve dealt with so much when we were just homies/friends and it made our friendship so strong that when we got together, it just felt right. I will always remember our first kiss. It was something I’ve been waiting for and kissing him for the first time…it felt perfect. It felt like this is the person I want to kiss everyday for the rest of my life. We’ve both always had mutual feelings about things, which is scary sometimes how we really, REALLY, know each other. With us, it never gets awkward, we have no boundaries, we are always honest (sometimes too honest), we have so much in common, (except for transformers…honey…that can just be your thing 😉) but overall, as much as I’m mushy and all cute with him…he truly is everything I’ve ever wanted in a man and I couldn’t be happier. I love him. I really do love him. 💕

Do I even need to write cheesy things about us? OF COURSE I DO! 😁😍 I could writes cheesy things for days! This man right here IS the love of my life and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of saying that or telling the world that. He’s more than just my boyfriend, he’s my best friend, my inspiration, my partner in crime and most Importantly my hero. My Love has not only opened my eyes to much better things but he has guided me through most of my darkest times. Everyone says “there’s a light at the end of the tunnel…” Well George, he’s my light and after a very dark past, he was worth the journey. I feel like every love song, movie or quote is about us and we can relate. I can express enough on social media and to the world how much in love I am with him. Like, I know I have my moments, like today, me being frustrated and wanting everyone around me to just disappear and for a moment I tried pushing him away, but he wasn’t budging. I always retract to old my old self and just want to me left alone and try and figure stuff on my own because, well, I’ve been doing it for 12 years. It’s my comfortable spot, but George, oh…he knows when I’m in that mood and he does everything he can to out me out of it. Whether it’s a kiss or hug or something physical, but when I can’t that, just hearing him talk positively about me, makes me feel a lot better. I love this man, and I know that there will be days where we can’t always be together and being in love means it’s going to hurt too missing that other half. But I know our hearts, mind and souls will always be connected, no matter the distance. I can happily say, once again, I’m in love with the man of dreams! ❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋

Ahhhh the little things…. In our relationship that’s what makes my heart soar! The way we go out of each others way to just show how much we love each other. We would call out from work when the other was sick or hurt and we would take care of each other. How we choose to live every second making sure the other one was smiling. Honey, being with you, there is never a boring moment. We are probably the biggest Disney dorks anyone has ever met! We laugh at probably the stupidest things that aren’t even funny, we know how to push each other’s buttons and since we don’t take anything seriously, we do that for the “LOL’s” there’s not a day that goes by that I’m not laughing or smiling at the end of it. Even on my bad days…seeing you, hearing your voice, or being in your arms….I feel safe and happy again. You are my best friend and everything more! I don’t think I’ll ever get over the fact that we used to say “ew” to each other and now….WE SEE EACH OTHER NAKED! 😏 haha oh honey, I wouldn’t trade our relationship for anything in the world! Well maybe the resurrection of Michael Jackson but that’s it!!! 💋 I love you so much and Knowing that I get to see your smile everyday for the rest of my life makes it all worth it! ❤️
