its a sort of rule in punk subculture that wearing colored shoelaces with your work boots (this applies pretty exclusively to black doc martens/ other brands of same style combat boots) signifies certain political beliefs. i ask because in your red themed punk moodboard one of the pics is of someone with red laces on their docs, which usually signifies nazism. obviously theres a good chance the guy in the pic didn’t know this and just wore them arbitrarily for fashion purposes, but better be safe than sorry you know?
