Hey everybody. I really didnāt want to have to make a post like this but unfortunately, I now have to.Ā
I donāt generally support call out posts unless really warranted. But someone has gone beyond petty, vague posting about me to what is now harassment. Even though I blocked them several months ago due to their constant bombardment of abusive messages, they have now been going and slandering me on their blog and to other people, via private message. So this post is purely to let others know about this situation and to give a second side to this story.Ā
In October 2017, a new follower called claytonsparrow started messaging me (on the tumblr messaging system) on my main blog. Now I donāt mind if people want to talk to me, my followers are always welcome to approach me for a chat. So it wasnāt the chatting that was the problem, but what they would chat about. They became very clingy and familiar with me, telling me that they loved me as a sister, and later even as a āloverā (despite me never giving them any reason to believe we had any romantic connection.)Ā It made me extremely uncomfortable due some issues from my past and despite telling them repeatedly that their constant stream of invasive messages were making me uneasy, they refused to stop.Ā The final straw came when @lulumaximal politely stepped in on my behalf, asking them to stop, they became very rude and emotionally manipulative, trying to guilt trip me into a relationship because of stuff happening in their personal life.Ā In the end, I finally had to block them. The only down side is blocking them caused me to lose all of the early conversations, so I donāt have any screenshots.Ā
Reminder, that this was all in October.Ā Iām making this post in January because a few days ago I got a message from @writeyouin who very kindly came to me with concern because this user had sent her some unprompted slanderous messages about me claiming how I had essentially broken their heart (again, we never had anything akin to a relationship).Ā Ā Hereās the link to writeyouinās page where she made a post about this soon after the discovery.
On top of slandering me to writeyouin, they also made several very obviously directed at me posts on their blog.
Here, they talk about me as if we were lovers who broke up and mentions that they love me, despite having barely known me. This makes me extremely anxious because of my past.Ā
And here they call me a bitch, a violation of Tumblrās rules, say they hate me/love me and once again imply that we were together, despite never being so.Ā
They also made an OC named Lily soon after I blocked them as you can see and has been using it interact with several Transformers RP blogs (including blogs I follow, which makes me queasy every time I see it come up).
And I want to make something important very clear - I do not, nor have I ever had any kind of relationship with them beyond casual acquaintances. We were never good enough friends to call each other siblings, nor were we ever involved romantically as they imply several times.
Iām putting this information out in the open simply because this has become harassment under Tumblrās guidelines and Iād like it to stop. Itās also disconcerting that they are going to my friends and talking badly about me. I donāt know if theyāve done this to others, so if you get approached by them and they start talking about me, I want you to know the other side of the story.
Please, it is not my intention to start discourse. I donāt want people attacking this user. I just want this to stop, because itās harassment. If youād like to help me, you can report this here under harassment.
